In a tough, hard encounter which the referee struggled to control, CHRSL came from behind three times to force a 3 - 3 draw with Parra City. Both teams showed enough to suggest they will be serious contenders this season. Any other scores???

Well, about the only correct prediction was that I was only guessing! No idea of Newingtons background, but obviously for them to go so close against Merrylands suggests they are a very handy team. Close scores also indicates the competition is pretty evenly matched, which is fantastic for everyone involved. At this stage, I am going to stick with my big 3 predictions, but it seems this may be seriously challenged throughout the season.

With round 1 past the comp does look to be very tight and will mean a very fun and interesting season. Round 2 looks to be a stunner round as well, any predictions. I will probably be way off but here are mine.
Parra 2-2 Merrylands Newington 1-2 CHU Auburn FC 0-3 CHRSL Regents Park 2-3 Baulko

Baulkham Hills where absolutely demolished from the get go. CHU unlucky not to have one by 5. Parents from Baulkham Hills where rude and would do anything for their div 2 players to look good enough for div 1. Definitely bottom of the table this year
