Pendle Hills 1-2 Newington
First time we've had 14 players all season which was needed in a tough game in gale force winds (which died down with 10mins to go). Hopefully we will have subs against Auburn next week! Had to play on wing today for 80mins which was depressing haha.
Any other scores?

well done to Newington BLK on their win against Pendo,We play Newington BLK next week at Wilson
Park should be a good game.

Saw this game the Pendle Hill Keeper had a shocker on the second goal. If i was Pendle Hill I would hook him. He pulled off a good save in the first half but that goal was a joke. I have seen him a few times and have given him the nickname Joe Hart as he is good for at least one howler a week. |

Newington 1-6 Auburn
Newington dominated first 20 whilst Auburn found their feet and went 1-0 up. two lucky goals (off the woodwork and dropped to leave Auburn with a couple of tap ins) then our keeper lost his head as Auburn began to turn the screw and scored some brilliant goals. Can't fault them the win fully deserved although thought it could have been closer as their keeper made a couple of decent saves (wish he didn't get to my effort!)
I'll leave Turk to talk about the ref....

Toonie 2 - Winsto 3 this is the one that got away. Had the lead twice and missed sitters that would of put us up by 2.

bobo, are you going to give a further review of the game? What about the highlight and lowlights?
Highlight - your teams substitute keeper (who probably should play the semi's if you want to progress) almost getting chipped from near halfway?
Lowlight - the fact that you let Joe Hart take a penalty that the sausage fingers almost missed. That bloke is not only a average keeper/player but also an average bloke after he took the penalty off the skinny striker who was on a hattrick.

The Pendo keeper is one of the very best....very very consistent....amazing he has not conceded more goals given the Pendo back 4 think defence is what separates there house from there neighbors.
