Winsto wht v ermington. Enjoyable game to play. First of each teams goals came from penalties. Ermington took the lead mid way through the 2nd half by some very sloppy winsto defending, although the attackers should've been called offside. Winsto equalised late off a corner. 2 all to finish up. Pretty good to have an unofficial ref who just lets the game play, and shows no bias. If both teams could finish chances, score couldve been 10 all

Pendo 2 Wenty 1 Pendo up 1-0 at half time, Wenty only having the bare 11 till second half and the game was very even for the next 45. Wenty equalised before a late winner from Pendo. Wenty owned the last 10 minutes and were unlucky with a great free kick which was somehow put behind for a corner.

Winsto Blk 0 Parra City 2 Tough, even game. Parra City extremely organised (They had two coaches/managers and a whiteboard. You know a team means business when the whiteboard comes out) with plenty of talk and they defend very well as a team. 0-0 at half time as neither side could really work any decent chances. Second half and it was a tight struggle again but Parra City banged a couple in from set pieces. Bit disappointing we didn't clear our lines better but you have to be the more desperate in those situations and we weren't. Deserved win to Parra but we look forward to the challenge of playing them again.
Tim we checked their cards before the game as you suggested, absolutely no dramas mate so not sure what happened when you played them. Apparently there was one guy on the team sheet who no longer plays for them but one of their managers crossed him off before the game.

Winsto wht v lidcombe - winsto started slow but got going after 10 mins, and then dominated. I think our keeper touched the ball 5 times in the whole game. 6-0 win for whites. Good spirited game played with no official ref again. It's a close comp this year. Still yet to play holroyd but they and parra look like the teams to beat this year.

Wenty 1 Winsto Blk 2
One of those 'tale of two halves' type of games. We came out of the blocks on fire and scored in the first five minutes and enjoyed the very early running, but possession and territory soon turned and Wenty dominated most of the first half. Yet again we conceded from a set piece but as it turned out we did well to limit Wenty to just the one goal considering the amount of ball and chances they had. Second half and we made a couple of positional changes and it worked a treat, it was a completely different game and we had the better of the ball and chances. It took a while but we eventually got the second goal we needed and were unlucky not to add to it. A late red card to Wenty didn't help their cause but they still pushed for the equaliser until the final whistle. Wenty had 4/5 subs and we had 2 but finished with none after a couple of injuries. Genuinely looking forward to our bye in two weeks to get a bit healthy.

Ermo beating Parra City 5-0 is a bit of a shock. I don't suppose there are any lurkers from either team out there who can tell us what happened?

Winsto what v Greystanes. Good hard even game. Both teams with early chances. Winsto went into half time 1 up. Winsto doubled score about 15 mins into the 2nd half, then Greystanes lifted, pushing more players up and finally getting one back, and that's how it finished. 2-1 winsto win. Unofficial ref again who did a pretty decent job.

Ermington 4 Pendo 1 10 man Pendo in front early before second goal was ruled offside, contentious call as Ermington scored soon after, 1-1 half time and despite Pendo dominating early in the second half couldn't capitilise and soon after tired with Ermo scoring 3 late goals. Another game with an unofficial ref with Granville appointments officer earlier this year stating that there was an 80% coverage rate, I don't know about everyone else but we have only had 4 official refs this year.

Pendo v Lidcombe was abandoned 15 minutes into second half when the official ref sent a lidcombe player off for continually swearing at him, another lidcombe player on the bench was also red carded for joining in before a third player wanted to fight the pendo injured player. Great composure by the man in black as he allowed lidcombe plenty of chances to first field a team along with their antics. Lidcombe only had 8 players at the start of the game with no jerseys, ref allowed time for these to arrive and after 15 minutes delay they had 12 but no cards as these were still arriving, by the end of the first half lidcombe had 16 players and only 14 jerseys with subs swapping jerseys. Absolute dodgy bastards so if you play lidcombe check for cards I know we aren't playing for sheep stations but having 16 players turn up and a maximum of 15 registered with players not knowing each others names. We gave them every opportunity in the spirtit of football as we only want to play a game and know we can't challenge for top 4 so you teams above us don't risk injuries or a possible abandoned game with these grubs.

Sounds pretty ordinary crt. They only had 13 registered when we played them the first time and they had a couple of jersey numbers doubled up. They definitely had two number 8's because one of them was sent off (for constantly giving it to the ref) so it had to be sorted post-game as to which one was the correct 8 on the team sheet. I'm sure after an abandoned game the Lidcombe club will have a close look at what's going on with their team. You'd hope so anyway. Not sure if the abandoned game means both teams are automatically stood down this week? We're supposed to play Lidcombe this week so wil have to wait and see.
Winsto Blk 4 Ermington 2 After the game we all agreed we won this game not through any great display of skill but more through effort, everyone dug deep. We looked rusty having had the washout round followed by a bye last week and Ermington love passing the ball around so it was a frustrating game for us. That said, we actually didn't start too badly and were up 2-0 after about 25 when Ermo pulled one back and started enjoying the better of it. We got a third with the last kick of the first half which made things a lot more comfortable. Ermo I think played the better in the second half and pulled it back to 3-2 but we were able to restore the 2 goal cushion not long after and held on. Both teams with nothing left in the tank by the end of the game.

Good luck next week winstobronx, 2 number 7's yesterday as well, the ref actually had these guys the previous week with the same issues in regards to who is on the team sheet, unfortunately many years of trust have gone out the window as my boys while trying to win just want to play the game so they decided to give them the chance to get their crap together. See you boys in a couple of weeks for the double header Sunday game, just warning you mate nothing dodgy going on but that Sunday we will have at least 2 players turning up late cards will be there well before game starts.

To all the teams in the AAM7 Comp.
on behalf of Lidcombe Waratah's I would like to offer my sincere apologies and regret that our AAM7 team have ruined your comp this year. It appears they played an unregistered player on at least 3 occasions and then despite having been caught did it again today.
the coach/manager had been stood down by GDSFA, and at Monday nights meeting the club accepted their apology, rather foolishly it seems. We decided to allow the remainder to play pending GDSFA's investigation.
I arrived at Coleman 1 today for the second half of their game against Winston Hills only to see that they were doing it again. I called the ref over and asked him to abandon the game in the interests of player safety. The ref agreed and showed me who they claimed he was, unfortunately for them I knew the player who they had told the ref, and lets just say the ethnic backgrounds of the two don't come within a bulls roar of being anywhere near the same
So they have been kicked out of the club. I am mortified and ashamed of their actions and offer the clubs apology to you all.
I would like to give a massive vote of thanks to the lads from Winston Hills who helped pack up for me afterwards, it was much appreciated as I really was in a rather bemused state by such sheer stupidity and total disregard for everyone.
Simon Ford Secretary Lidcombe Waratah's

Pendo 2 Holroyd 2
Interesting game with Pendo starting the game the strongest but finding themselves 0-2 down with 2 very soft goals, we nabbed 1 back just before half time and again just couldn't find the net despite dominating, finally equalised half way through the second half and it was game on. Game opened up with both teams trying for the winner, Pendo missed their penalty with 10 to go and Holroyd hit the bar a couple of minutes later. Some interesting comments from the ref during the game left a few players bemused, he stated we are not playing EPL but saw the need to bring back throw ins for a metre or two rather than let the game flow for both teams. Simon, thank you for quick actions hard call to do that to your own club but 3 chances are 2 too many

Winsto Black 6 Lidcombe 0 after about 70 mins
As stated by Simon above it was an interesting and disappointing day yesterday. At 3pm Lidcombe only had 6 and it was looking like a forfeit but at 3:05pm a 7th turned up and after I was assured by the Lidcombe team they were all registered players the referee thankfully allowed us to play. Lidcombe had an 8th turn up that they had pre-warned me was coming and a very friendly and light-hearted game was on. We were up 5-0 at halftime and had 3/4 goals disallowed for offside and a handball. That's when a 9th player turned up who we weren't told about but we were assured he was registered and his jersey number was added to the team sheet. The game went on and the 9th guy, whilst not a superstar, was certainly having an impact on the game, injecting himself regularly. 6-0 and that's when Simon arrived at the ground and pointed out the 9th player wasn't a registered player and was the guy they had played 3/4 times previously. Game called for safety/insurance reasons. The players that played yesterday all seemed like nice enough guys but you have to wonder why they needed to cheat with 15 registered players. Why would you pay $300 registeration then not turn up regularly to play? They only have their teammates to blame in my opinion.
Sounds like there will now be a second bye in the comp for the teams still to play Lidcombe.

Just wonder what the association is going to do with the results so far on round 2 with Lidcombe, will these all now be 3-0 results with teams like Wenty and Winsto losing their goals as all others won't get the same results? Let's see how long it takes for an answer.

Thats dissapointing news. Lidcombe werent a bad bunch of guys to play against. I would assume all results for round 2 would revert back to a bye. Saturday - wasnt at game but winsto wht v parra city, end 5 - 1 to parra. Winsto played with 10 all game and went up early. Parra had the legs at the end and got a few late goals. Sunday - wht v hoylroyd. Dont know what happened to hoylroyd, they had a full team with 3 subs and got dominated. 8 - 0. Winsto again played with the bare 11, 4 of those guys backing up from a bucks weekend. Should've been alot more too. They just never got into the game.

I think Pendo ran them too hard on Saturday, Holroyd seemed to just sit back and counter with a long ball which is strange and they actually knocked it around quite nicely in the first round, looks like top 3 are set with any team possibly sneaking in at 4th at this stage.
