yes great win by st johns at winston hills...in a free flowing game, with some good patches of play and goals from both sides, played in good spirits and a nice hatrick from our right half, also a great display from the stopper in this team.

Yes it was a great game. We were up 2-0 at half time but 3 goals for St Johns in about 8 mins in the second half put us on the back foot. We equalised but they managed 1 on the final whistle. Watch this space for possible developments on the result.
Great win by St Johns, back to the wall from kick off with no reservers, then down 2-0 at half time. Two great quality goals by saints striker who went on & got his hatrick.... Never say die attitude, well done St Johns..
p.s Is there a hint of sour grapes Bear?? Good luck with whatever your hinting!!
Toonie 1 Baulko 0 - Ted Horwood No 4 heavy on the bank side, but generally ok. Good, tough game, some nice play from both teams, good keeping on display, and played with a great spirit. Toonie probably deserved it, but it was in the balance well into the 2nd half at 0-0.
Big Brown/Cebiche and everyone else that cares In Round 1 we played St Johns and after the game we realised they had 1 more player than were on the card. With the issues with id cards we let it go and are not claming they did anything wrong but to make sure in the future for all teams we play we will be checking the team sheet and all id cards thoroughly.
So warning to everyone now double check your sheet and id cards before the game because we will.
If the ref will not start a game till the team sheet has been signed by the coach/manager and a team official which in 35's it is hard just get 11 players to the game he should not let teams hand write players on.
