There is no doubt if North Rocks get the Gladesville boys to sign and play they will win the GDSFA comp or come close. The good news however for the GHFA is that there are rumours of some talent that has fled the struggling GDSFA and moved across to strengthen the GHFA which i think at present is hands down the best comp going around, representative players everywhere you look

Are you waiving your rod?
Rod is a GHDSFA fanboi we all know that. Nothing like talking it up pre-season. You know the new season is not that far off when people are already claiming to win it without a ball kicked.
Thanks for the tip Rod. Makes the new season a foregone conclusion. We can present the trophies to the ghdsfa lads now and we can all go fishing instead. Saves a lot of sweat and running around the park. *Phew*
Wish all comps were this easy. Let the fun and games begin!
Its not an easy comp Stanley i just think there is a slightly harder one at the GHFA The GDSFA began slipping mid last season mate but i hope for all our sake that the new sides are competative and that some of last season bottom dwellers start to pull there finger out and compete I hear that GHFA team trials are attracted like over 50 players per session and rumour has it that some clubs are enticing some of our top players from last years GDSFA to make the move, ive heard a bunch of players are or have already made the move???
Hope this inspires some cause pre season is just around the corner

Week 1 fields closed Week 2 27 turned up including 5 from our junior ranks and another 4 from NR senior teams.which is why we are serious about Prems this time around. The proverbial pathway for our juniors is needed if you want juniors to stay. Week 3 storms We have 53 that have registered an interest in trying out. Of course a number is only a number and we will see how many turn up this Sunday. Signs are very good though. We will have the numbers for Prems and if enough we will field a Super league squad a s well. If not AAM3 or 5 depending on wether SL gets up.

I think freak and ademon will want a piece of the Toony action @ $850.
And V will take a slice of the Baulko odds @$550.
No odds for the ville? Stan won't be happy...
I'm surprised you have last years winners Toony $850 and Baulko $550 since they battled it out for the grand final silverware. Also Baulko runners up in the State Cup, Both deserve more respect in my opinion.
Rydalmere odds are way too skinny.
Pendo, Nofrocks and Greys are unknown quantities at this stage although Greystanes beat Rydalmere in the cottom cup, So greys have earned some respect. Pendo will be a good side as the club has some decent depth and greys have some good depth as well. Depending if rumours are true NoFrocks will be competitive also. Creepy isn't saying much about big numbers from GHFA and from what grades...
So I would put the odds around thus,
Toongabbie $1.50 Baulkham Hills $1.50 Rydalmere $3.00 Kellyville $4.00 Greystanes - $5.00 TBA Castle Hill $6.00 North Rocks $8.00 Pendle Hill $8.00 TBA
Rumour is no Lidcombe either next year. We will wait and see if this holds true.
Would be very interesting to see if Merrylands SFC, Lidcombe Ariana and Norwest can get enough to form a reserves squad and enter prems/res as all finished top 3 in sen 1's last year. I think they would be very competitive as well.
Roundball, Yeah I borrowed that phrase from an ol Baulko mate of mine I haven't heard from in yonks.
You clearly don't understand how to run a book for the purpuse of gambling.
Perhaps you should just suggest your table for the season.
And Captain when was the last time you saw a 8 horse race with 2 odds on fav's. Let alone $1.50 fav's??
A more realistic book would look a little like this;
RFC: $2.10 KV: $2.80 BH: $3.50 TD: $6.00 CH: $9.50 Teams not named: $4.00
I think if Merrylands got serious they would be a genuine contender for 1st grade I have also heard whispers that Greystanes might not have the numbers or the strength to register a squad. Sounds very promising Creepy for getting NR back in the comp. GREAT NEWS!
My prices are on the 1st grade GF winners as well. Another thing that the previous markets did not confirm.
i am VERY excited about the up and coming year of soccer thats all i will say. and very happy that the GH comp is the best in the world.
Rod so who are the strongest team in the GH comp. we normaly play them in trials and the better team we played was pacific dural a couple of years ago,,they came out strong, in 15 minuts we were down 3-0 they started to get lippy and i woke up the boys up for the second half then we gave it to them.
so who is the best side
This is my opinion and i don't give a toss what you think
Stanley with a "C" you really need to forget about the past and look at the present and future GHFA will have a really tough comp this coming season and its hard to say who will be the toughest side but Ravens have some seriously good talent, especially if there hand full of state league players decide to turn it on. I just haven't seen a stronger side anywhere else I believe even Beecroft the winner of our super league comp would easily finish in the top 3 of the GDSFA season, but bare in mind you guys will probably have only 6 teams GDSFA blew it last season from poor management in there association and clubs on field behaviour, it will take a while to recover. GHFA will be a very strong comp and we cant wait till round 1, we are expecting big crowds
