You know there is a saying that is really appropriate to you & the people you are referring to - what goes around comes around and bites you on the b-m, you see you really didn't have to let them get under your skin and they may be going to CofC but you have won the important one - the grand finals. As I said to you on Sunday, congratulations on a great win, Castle Hill you have done a superb job over the last few years making consecutive grand finals, you can hold your heads up with pride, someone was going to beat you somewhere, sometime, perhaps we now have the changing of the guard.
Fishin - The Football NSW program is good but just doesn't go far enough... 7 kids from each age group isn't enough... they need to have 100 kids doing the program and relegate and delegate as they develop at different levels at different times...
What is the point in putting all your eggs in 7 baskets...
I have been interested to read some of your post over the years as you are an amusing fellow & write quite well but I have just about had enough after a couple of your more recent posts. You are seemingly hurt & disappointed that certain forumites have not been on here to congratulate you on the GF win. I can understand that but don't you think there is a bit of "the pot calling the kettle black" in there somewhere.
I can remember reading a post from you asking for a bit of insight into how you might go about beating CH. Remember. Now I was not going to get involved at all but after being a bit sick & tired of CH winning for the last couple of years I thought "why not", so I sent you a PM with a perfect plan to beat them.
After watching the match on Sunday, it was so obvious to me that you had followed everything that I advised & "what happens ?", "you win". It is now late Wednesday & I am still waiting. I didn't want anything on the forum, just a short little PM would have done but.... nothing.

Leeds . . . Sorry we didn't catch up after full time. Kiff was quick to align himself, I thought you would have been close by. Yes, you did sell out chu with your master plan. The craftery and well honed creative mastery were an eye opener to an inexperienced coach like myself. The tactical slivers of brilliance you shared with me did the trick. It was remiss of me not to congratulate and thank you for all your guidance. I'm thinking of paying your methodology the ultimate compliment by writing a book outlining it's ingenious effectiveness.
I will cunningly call the book " Score more than them and you'll win "
Cdad, I thought I always thanked you for the charts, etc. If nothing else, at least I didn't abuse you for them.
Now, that wasn't so hard was it !! But now you have just let the cat out of the bag. Winsto were going to try to use it on them next year.
Unfortunately I had to head back to work but I did call out to you just after FT, just after my son said "Well done Roscoe", but you either just brushed me or just didn't hear. Rather surprisingly there were 4 families (or part there of) from Winsto watching the GF, which was good to see. It does amaze me a bit that there are not a lot more kids from the comp there at GF day. They play in a comp all year, I would of thought that they would show a bit more interest especially in a match up between two teams like LW & CH. Anyway.
And maybe a bit belatedly? but yes, well done C-Dad. You do, do, a great job on the table & tipping comp. What improvements can you come up with next year I wonder?
fishin and leeds, Thanks, but forget about the tables, the games would have gone on without them and everyone would have lived without them too. I'm sure somewhere I must have given a crucial piece advice to someone which would have helped their survival ;D.
Stan, you are missing a bit of background info but leeds can respond to your post.
I myself went and watched a total of 1/2 a GF... and that was only because the missus was out and I had the kids at training on Sunday afternoon so we ducked down for the second half of the O35's game...

don't go looking for any Silvo in the Auburnor Lidcombe Bunnings, some little red pocket dynamo has been in and purchased all their stock along with all their polishing cloths, apparently is earnestly looking for an engraver to engrave the Arthur Green with 2009 CHU, oops sorry Lidcombe Waratahs
