Surely we will get the 3 points.. .. Same thing happened last time we versed them when we scored to make it 5-2.. The ref was so scared he disallowed a legitimate goal and just blew full time.. It's park football we all get frustrated at times but at the end of the day just want to play a game.. This is just Disgraceful get them out..
Lets be honest,Rydalmere revert to these bullying tactics on both the opposition and officials to make up for their lack of football ability. Lets hope the association stamps this out as all other teams in this division play fair football and leave the rubbish at home.
Hey guys, I play in the AAM 9. Know absolutely nothing about your division but when I was dropping off the team sheet from our game at Max Ruddock I started watching Winsto Blk vs Rydalmere. Game was abandoned in the second half. The score was 1-1, official ref and two linesmen, decisions were going against Rydalmere, correctly for the most part, but yeah a couple were probably wrong including a blatant handball on halfway. You could tell Rydalmere were getting agitated and the ref was copping an earful, especially from the bench from perhaps the coach maybe? Someone not in uniform anyway. Winsto then scored to make it 2-1 and Rydalmere were adamant it was offside. I was right in-line with it watching on the hill and was clearly onside and a legit goal. The linesman agreed. But a group of Rydalmere players, including the keeper, got in the refs face. No idea what was being said but I can't imagine it was pleasant. Finally the ref tried to move to halfway and one player lashed out with his foot knocking the ref to the ground and that was it. A couple of players then had to be physically restrained by their teammates from chasing after the ref but it didn't stop them hurling abuse at the ref as he ran from the field. Disgraceful scene. I know you blokes play the top division, but it was ridiculous and it's games like this that result in none of us getting refs.
If it isnt to much to ask, could you please write a brief statement of what you saw and how the Rydalmere team acted and send it to email@example.com
Rydalmere are stating that the incident never took place and that they were only arguing between themselves and that no-one actually struck the referee.
The club is in the process along with the Referee and Association of providing as many statements as possible.
It was very lucky that by shear chance, one of the GDSFA directors was on hand to see the incident.
Hopefully with as much evidence as we can provide, and with Rydalmere making this absurd statement, they will be kicked out of the comp and this player banned for a significant amount of time.
I meant to add this should occur this week, after allowing time for all involved parties to submit their reports to GDSFA. This would involve referees, Winston Hills team and club, Rydalmere team and club, and any spectators or independent people who saw the alleged incident.

I'm not into bashing the association, but if this grub is not rubbed out forever or a very long time, as well as giving the team a holiday, they have massively let down this young ref and his assistants as well as all the players that do the right thing week in week out.

Did Winsto black play on the weekend or was their game postponed aswell due to the abandoned game the week before? Noticed they have a midweek game against norwest too... Comp seems a bit all over the shop.
Rydalmere get blacklisted by the refs, so we have to play them without a ref this Sunday.... If they are blacklisted they shouldn't be playing plain and simple. What happens when one of our players gets physically assaulted? Will the association foot all medical, court costs??

They are playing? Does anyone know if any offenders have been given the arse? Ridiculous. Any problems, call the police, only hope of stopping this behavior, have your spectators pick up their phones and start filming if there is a hint of drama.

That is the worst possible action taken!! If an official does not want to ref them that is fine I wouldn't want to either, but shouldn't they be made to forfeit. This is hardly a punishment it's more of a reward, what happens if they go on to make the semis? Then the semi final will have no official? And if an official does ref them it's even more of a joke, they have basically just hand gifted them a finals spot. I can't see how they have come up with this decision?
