Anonymous you seem to be very biased. 1-0 after 30 mins, and Parra missing 2 easy chances to score until help from the ref helped GR run away with it. Interesting that you all mention you had 70 kids turn up for ur "rep" team trials so in all honesty you should be dominating all teams by 10 goals and not 4.By the way for a rep team I find it amusing your team can't put 3 passes together. You don't need a midfield as all your team does is send it long for ur forwards to run onto. Great development..and it's something all parents from all teams talk about. By the way why is it when your team gets smacked in the ryl comp we don't get the score updates...only when u win...hmmm. Any way I hope u enjoy the "elite"levels of state league 3 next year.
you must have been at a different game on the weekend Rage played brilliant football in the first half and we didn't need any help from the man in the middle = We played football not long ball like city
I know it must be a hard pill to swallow seeing your team carved up by half time
As for regional league mate you need to check the tables to see were the boys finished.
Rebel or is it anonymous? Anyways, please what success are u talking about....As I've said ur team full of rep players should be winning by much bigger margins. As for ryl your team has been pumped during the year on a few occasions but conveniently u don't post the score for all of us to see. Anyway no doubt you are most probably looking forward to holding the big trophy aloft next week remembering it's not all about winning isn't it mate.
Just so ur up to speed and to make sure you have the correct info we have only lost 3 in RYL
1-0 unlucky not to have drawn or won but certainly not smacked and 4-1 on synthetic field that we haven ever one a game on and with no subs and u14 players playing so as for a few
The boys r happy havin fun playing with their mates with a happy supporters it breeds a good football team and culture success comes from it as opposed to aggressive supporters and sideliners that only affects the team and the boys on field performance
It's not all about winning but no players turn up or play to lose. Of coarse they play to develop and become better players but it's human nature to play a game to win it just like city wanted yesterday
Ah Rebel. Thanks for the belated score-lines of your losses, but there was no need for the excuses. As you see all the park football sides in our comp have the same excuses week in week out minus the artificial pitch one. Thats a good one. You boast of your victories but did you ever consider the other teams you have “dominated” have the same excuses you have come up with when you lose? You mention you had a few 14 year olds playing in your ryl loss. Well then let me give you the facts on Parra, as we and most teams don’t come up with excuses when we lose. There are six kids in the squad that are 14 years old. We also had 2 kids playing injured and really shouldn’t have played but they wanted to help out their mates. We also had 2 key players absent as they are overseas. I guess when you put it into perspective your teams performance wasn’t that crash hot after all. Even more so, it’s not really an even playing field when you have a rep team playing against local club teams. What does it achieve?
Talking about team culture and spirit we have plenty of that. Our boys were coming second last after the first round but managed to turn it all around in the second round and finished 4th. Actually if you look at the results of the 2nd round alone the boys finished second so that shows this team has a great team spirit and culture to be able to improve so much and to refuse to chuck it in. All the kids are best mates on and off the field, and they’ve all stuck together and have really enjoyed their season. They love playing the game and play purely for the fun and mateship as it should be. After the loss all the kids went together to watch the other Parra teams play in the semi’s emphasising the great spirit within the team. Team spirit and a positive culture is built up after a number of years and not from putting a rep team together to win everything on offer.
Your one to talk about spectator behaviour and culture as we know what happens when things go against your team over the years. You haven’t been tested this year, but we know from over the years when things don’t go your way how you all react. Will be interesting if Merrylands get a winning goal from a 50/50 call in the GF. Me thinks the riot squad will need to be called in.

PC deserve plenty of praise for their second round performances and should be very proud of finishing in the top 4 of an extremely strong 15/1 competition.
Frankly, having Rage in this competition has been a good thing for all in my opinion as they provide an opportunity for all teams to measure how good they really are.
BTW, CHRSL beat Rage this year and I must say they took the defeat very graciously......boys, coaching staff & parents. I know historically there have been some issues, but certainly not in my experience this year.
As long as the boys are having fun (as you state), then why not just accept the fact that the best teams this year will be playing in the GF, Rage .v. Merrylands.
CHRSL can easily top your tale of woe concerning injuries, having played with 11-12 each week this season, so why just cop it sweet & do it all again next year........without Rage black!
It was a pleasure to lose to you guys. Your coaching staff players and parents all seem to be a good bunch of people
It was good to see the smile on the faces of your boys after the game beating RAGE it was like they had won the GF
In fact the loss to CHRSL and Northbridge in Regional league was the best thing to happen to the Rage boys all year it certainly helped re-focus their season.
It isn't always easy keeping U15 boys focused on football (I think it is harder sometimes when they are winning consistently), its the loses you have and how you respond is the making of a good football team.
Rage was on a little slide with attitude & enthusiasm until those loses.
Your coach did a very good job under difficult circumstance this year with the amount of players sidelined throughout the year
Even know most of the Rage boys will more than likely move to state league 1 next year i will still be interested to see the football played next year and when I get a chance I will still attend some matches and follow the results.
