beeper,I think teams that play in the first division should earn the right to play in the first division,Please don't underestimate the 2nd division their are tought teams in that division,I think CHU WHT and Ermington from last year should be drop to second division as they came last and second last Teams that should take thier place are Lidcombe and Auburn fc up from second division Rage only had one team last year so their second team should go to second division and earn the right to play in the first division.Teams that should be in division 1 are or given the option to play in division 1. Good luck to all we will have to wait and see what happens.
Castle Hill United Black Castle Hill Rockets Parramatta City Merrylands SFC Granville Rage Baulkham Hills Auburn FC Lidcombe St Michael's Rydalmere
I can tell where they did play in 2011..... In the GDSFA comp. which they then earned to play in a higher league, so have the ASR acadamy boys played in the GDSFA before?? And by the way how far do those boys have to travel to get to training and games??
whiteknight... we didn't have this dilemour in 2012...did we? Again I say I don't know what granville will do??? But it is a healthy agruement to have, don't you think. To say St Michaels are: "as much GDSFA as anyone else.....eligible, registered, paid fees" I don't fully believe this"
No one is saying they're not elligble, I'm just saying that if it were up to me this year, I would take into account kids having played in the association over kids that have not.
Should aim for 10 team competition as it's consistent across all the other ages and each plays each other twice. GDSFA will need to make the hard decision I think based on: 1. The team finishing last in Div 1 should get relegated. 2. The Minor Prems from Div 2 should get promoted. Also Grand champion as division 1 only had 8 teams 3. The last spot has 3 new teams wanting to nominate for division 1. They should have a number of div 1 players registering either recruited or poached from other teams to be competitive. Their is no point nominating for 1 if u gonna end up winless, doesn't do anything good for them if the yet pumped watched week.

Granville Rage Versing Gladesville at Garside yesterday morning. 1st half was very scrappy by both teams. Rage was dominant, had many chances but just didn't take them. 0-0 at half time. In the 2nd half there was a big difference by both teams passing the ball a lot more and playing good football. Full time score Rage winning 5-0
Anonymous What division Is Gladesville in far as a know they had teams in Under 14s division 3 and 4 last year how ever its good to see clubs have started to have trials can't wait for the season to kick off.
st michaels didn't cut it last time they were in div 1 rydalmere brand new team both are granville kids what what i'm led to believe
2nd rage side might not be up to div 1 from what i've been led to believe chu wht finished in relegation from last year so who has more right than the other to nominate for div 1??? that's the million dollar question
