St Micks got up against Merrylands in our catch-up round with the score believed to be 7-4 - although with that many goals we may have to wait for the official result. That adds to the logjam towards the top of the table. Good game played in good spirits but possibly a few injuries to a couple of key St Micks players which isn't good leading up to this part of the season. Merryland's striker scored a few including an absolute screamer from outside the 18-yard box. Best of luck to all teams on the weekend.
Winsto had a 1-0 win over Rouse hill today in yet more windy conditions. It was a tough and enjoyable game from both sides with not many real great chances as both defences were on top. Always nice to have a ref and 2 ar's as well.... Not so nice was seeing a bad knee injury to one of the rams, all the best from the Winsto boys for a speedy recovery..
St Micks 3-0 up against north rocks. Nil all at half time. Good game played in good spirits for the most part. A couple of guys got a bit hot headed but settled down with a few minutes on the sideline. Fill in ref did a good job!!
Merry forfeited against Ermo (a week off could be a good thing as we have a few niggly injuries, but only a 3-0 scoreline could hurt us if it comes down to pts difference). After the other results and catchup game last week, everyone now played 14 games, the ladder is: Pts Winsto 33 Dunnies 28 Ermo 27 Micks 27 Rams 24 Kelly 10 Rocks 9 Merry 0 Safe to say that Winsto are the only team guaranteed a spot in the top 4 but 4 teams into 3 spots doesn't work...who will miss out???Good luck to all those 4 teams vying.
Winsto had a 7-0 win against Meerylands, not exactly the toughest game in the world and really could have been anything if we could shoot.. Mostly played in good spirits except for the last couple of minutes when it turned a bit niggly, fill in ref did a good job..
Ermo 2-0 Rocks A game played on the goat track known as North Rocks park. In a rather physical game, Ermo got the points thanks to a spot kick and an unbelievable goal (I'm still not sure if it was a cross or not) but it had Rocks keeper flapping at thin air. A win is win and we move on to Kellville this afternoon.

Ermo 3-0 Kellyville. A game played in good spirit (always is against them). Apart from one little goalmouth flutter that resulted in a couple of great saves by our keeper, our defence (2nd meanest in the comp behind Winsto) did their job. We had several more chances to score but fluffed them. Overall a well played game by all the players to add to yesterdays win has made it a successful "double header" weekend and with Dunnies going down today puts us back to 2nd spot with 2 big games to go against Winsto next week and finishing with Dunnies in the final round. Don't know result of Merry vs Rocks today but ladder is: Played Pts Winsto 15 36 Ermo 16 33 Dunnies 16 31 Rams 16 30 Micks 15 27 Kelly 16 10 Rocks 16 9 Merry 16 3

Ermo got us today 1-0, and they scored their goal with 10 men. Well done to ermo they played well and caught us a bit under prepared.. Young ref did a good job, and made the tough calls, player sent off for swearing at the ref twice in 30 seconds, and no need to repeat what he called the ref, he knows what he said and so do I as I was standing next to him.. Well done ermo on a good win.. Now we prepare for st micks tomorrow in our catch up game..
