As newhill said a 1-0 win to Ermo who totally outclassed Winsto (even scoring the winner with only 10 players). It was always going to be a close game (1st vs 2nd)after the previous 2 games with them had finished 1-1 and our only loss so far this year(1-0). The way it's looking we may be playing them...again... in the semis but time will tell. Any other results??

Dundas beat merrylands 11-2 but at a heavy cost. Our keeper was already gone for the season and after today our two main goalscorers and our right midfielder are out with possible season ending injuries and our centre back will be out for at least two weeks. Credit to merrylands I have seen a lot of teams forfeit the last two games in their position but they turned up and played hard. We kind of wish they did forfeit after the heavy injury toll.

Well some balance in reporting is now required, the Orangeman was at the game and can give an unbiased match report, facts are this loss means little to hills . The win means little to ermo if they don't back it up next week! Although meatus is correct, ermo will meet dundas under strength and should have a easy time of it! St micks hold the keys, did they win today, will they take advantage if hills being low on players, ( enjoying life in the snow ) for 2 key players
St micks 1 Rouse hill 4 Rouse to good played some good football and scored three crackers Good team effort by them
St micks 1Winston 4 Good game played in good spirit The black and white we had today was the best ref we have had in years He enjoyed the game and was just happy to be doing the game It's a shame that we cannot have him every week as he made the game even more enjoyable to play
Good luck to the 4semi finalists All 4deserve to be there and anyone of them can win on there day but I favour Winston as I think they are the best team in the comp
As slow fox said another enjoyable game against st micks, double headers are always fun. Ref did a good job and made the game fun.. Disappointingly st micks didn't score any for us today..if my maths is correct and we don't get hammered next week that should wrap up the minor premiership for us..also the top 4 is locked in, bad luck to st micks they are a real solid side but seemed to lack troops at the end..

Congrats to Winston Hills, minor perms barring a major stuff up! So that leaves a 3 way race for second, r hill should put plenty past m lands and go a head of ermo on for and against. Draw won't cut it for ermo, so many possible scenarios , any of the 3 can end up 2nd
It is getting close Orangeman, my thinking is Rouse Hill cant get to second spot no matter how many they score, if Ermo lose, that means Dundas wins so they grab second and Ermo may drop to 4th. Otherwise a draw or a win secures second for Ermo. So it should be Winsto v Ermo/Dundas and Ermo/Dundas v Rouse Hill in the first week of the semis. I think that's right?
Newhill, you are spot on with the scenarios. A draw/win for Ermo will give us 2nd spot. I think orangeman had a weekend on the sauce with his "Draw won't cut it for ermo" quote and forgetting his "ermo will meet dundas under strength and should have a easy time of it!" quote on Saturday night. Congrats to Winsto on minor premiership. Good luck to all 4 teams in the semis.
Winsto had a 5-0 win over rocks, enjoyable game with no problems, fill in ref did a fine job and most importantly no injuries so full squad for Winsto next week, it's been a while since we had a full squad... I hear ermo dundas was a 2-2 draw?? If that's the case we play ermo next week..
As stated a 2-2 draw with Dundas.Ermo showing great character to get both their goals within 5 minutes of conceding. Unlucky not to get a few more goals after twice hitting the woodwork. B & W did a great job. I'm not sure what's in the water in Dundas but it should be bottled and sold as a miracle cure after reading mightymeatus' comments last week about Dunnies injuries from Merrylands game (they had plenty of subs). So we move on to a big game against Winsto next week for a spot in the GF and it will be good to have a PROPER ref/assistants to avoid any ridiculous, unwarranted red cards. Again I say good luck to all 4 semi finalists.

Yep 2-2 draw between Dundas and Ermo but at a high cost. We are now down to 6 available players after 3 ACL's, two broken legs, five hammys and a toothache out of yesterdays game. We will more than likely forfeit next week.

Winton v Ermo, to close to call, Ermo must be confidant as they beat them last week, rouse Hill V Dundas, Rouse Hill only team in top 3 that have beaten Dundas so that would give then confidence and they have beaten them twice this season! Hope the rain doesn't beat us all this week!
I just read on the GDSFA website that all semis have been cancelled this weekend. New format for the following week (30th) is now 1 vs 4 & 2 vs 3 with the 2 winners to meet in the Grand Final. So it's now Winsto v Dunnies and Ermo v Rams. Apparently the draw will be announced next Tuesday for times/venues. Good luck to all teams.
So it's the end of the season for Ermo after going down to Rams in a penalty shootout after we fought back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at full time. We went down 1-0 early after a questionable penalty was given to Rams. We went to half time only down 1-0. A 2nd goal put the pressure on us but we rallied to get the goals. Apart from the questionable penalty to Rams we had a legit goal ruled against us and what could have been a goal ruled against us for offside (despite making the break from our half. Anyway we can now enjoy some time off and come back next year (probably be in Div 4 after our 2nd spot). How did Winsto v Dunnies go as we heard 2 different results. A 2-1 win to both of them. Thanks to everyone for an enjoyable season. To my boys a big thanks, you did me proud and gave your all every game. Until 2015, see you all.
Well done rams that's a great win.. Yes winsto got up 3-1 over Dundas.. 1-0 up at the break but it was as always a very even affair, both teams had chances, we went 2-0 up with 10 to go, they threw everything at us and got one back with 5 to play before we scored again with a minute left.. Was a tough game and ref was great.. It was nice to get out and play in the mud for a change.. Now for the rams next week should be another good game..
