My prediction for Div 1 dark horses could be spot on. Both Rocks teams giving the established Div 1 teams a tune up!
In the 45/2's, Toonie notched a good 2-0 over Kellyville. Toonie with the lion's share of possession and probably should have won by at least 3. Kellyville had a one on one which was missed but otherwise they really struggled to trouble the Toonie keeper. Some frayed tempers at times which is just pointless in O45's.

Gee Esky you got in early Gummys looked forward to our return to Div 1 and to have the first round clash against our arch rivals Pendo was a lot of fun and competitive to say the least.Score finished at 1-1 which if anyone knows the history of 45's was a pretty predictable result. It was good to see familiar faces and resume hostilities for 90 mins and then have a laugh and a few sherbs PS. Lefty if you are the x Winsto player that was suspended for assaulting a ref (in the 45's winsto derby last year) and expected the club to support you even though reports from both teams and refs assistant supported the refs report then I can understand your problem with the club
Arrived with about ten to go in the first half & scores were level. Greys had one reserve, C Hill playing with ten. Greys took the lead with what could of been described as a rather dubious not off side call but that is the way it goes. A non black & white, no linesman, you are always going to get some bad decisions. C Hill finally had a reserve just after HT. The second half was pretty ordinary from both teams with each having chances but poor options & finishing saw the score stay at 1-0. Both teams will have to improve to challenge for the semis.

Good to see Winston Hills Bears back in Division 1. Game against old foes Pendle Hill was played in good spirits and as per past games was predictable in the result of 1-1. Great free kick by Pendo to equalise after the Bears went one up after an unmarked tap in on the far post. A fair result on the day and friendly banter throughout with handshakes all round at the end. Welcome back Winston Hills. Esky reckons he was the man of the match but others may despute this.
Lidcombe goats and Holroyd 2-2 draw. Game of halves Holroyd dominated the first and could have been up by 4 ( 2-0 at halftime ) Second half was all Lidcombe scored 2 and almost could have stolen it. Holroyd is a good team with some talented players. was great to get rid of some cobwebs in round one.
