Winsto v st micks, 1 all. Fairly even game, they grabbed one early, before we scored in the second half, game played in good spirits, well on the field anyway, not really sure what happened after the game when a spectator and the ref had a few heated words? It may have had something to do with the official ref calling the second half short by 10 minutes...
Ermo 4-0 Greys. Ermo up 1-0 at half time then went on with it with 3 good goals in 2nd half. A good game helped by a red card to one of Greys players in 2nd half. A much better effort by Ermo with 2 wins this weekend (better than our last double header, 2 losses. Our defence is proving hard to crack with only 5 goals conceded this year. Well done to the boys.
Ermo 3-0 Baulko. Up 1-0 at half time with 2 in 2nd stanza. A somewhat scrappy, ugly game from our boys but a win is a win on the postage stamp sized Ted Horwood No. 1 with the mountain in the middle and our tight defence gave us another clean sheet. Baulko tried very hard in a game played in good spirits. Any other results ?

St Micks 3 - Toonie 0 in a catchup game last night. Game was reasonably even until a wonderful strike 20 out put St Micks up 1-0. Then a dubious penalty 10 mins later put them 2-0 up. They then scored a goal 15 mins into the second half. A good game played in great spirits and no bull crap.
St Micks have got a couple of really good players. Too scrapy from the Toonie boys, we will have to all step up from here
Ermo 3-2. Ermo down 1-0 at halftime in what was probably their worst half of football this season. We equalised early in the 2nd half only to fall behind again but with the boys digging deep and rallying late in the game they got it back to 2-2 and got the winner with a few minutes to go. Ermo showing great character and composure to get the 3 points. No official ref but the standing did an alright job.
Both teams playing well in an evenly matched game. Auburn scoring first, then Toonie - Half time 1-1
Unfortunately, the 2nd half quickly developed into the usual complaining. Every Ref call was questioned ... lots of dives and in your face play. Toonie kept solid - staying out of the nonsense. A penalty each way made it 2-2 with 20 mins to go.
About 10mins left, a free kick was given to Auburn ... more in your face behavior.
Ref called it early > Game over. A good decision. Toonie were over it... another un-enjoyable game.
Ermo 1-1 Wenty. No goals in the first half on a very muddy George Kendall (we were lucky to play but thanks to a couple of Ermo boys who spent an hour or so earlier in the day with pitchforks making some drain holes, the game went ahead). A goal to Ermo midway through the 2nd half was cancelled out 5 minutes later. A good physical game played in good spirits on a very boggy ground and a draw was probably a very appropriate scoreline.

Toonie got a forfeit from Greys who sadly look like they have now folded for the season. They had 7 blokes turn up, but they received a few phone calls when they were on the way and whilst at the ground to say they other players weren't turning up. A few the greys blokes hung around and we had a good half field game with them.
STMiks 4 - baulkham hills 0 It's was the score line at halftime . In general a good game until the second half, with a few baulko boys took to talking their fustrations at their ref and the STMiks player but you get that. Standin ref was constistant and did well considering, it was a very boggy pitch in the shaded areas. Good luck for the rest of the season .
So, Greystanes have pulled the pin on the remainder of the season. Not a huge surprise as there was quite a bit of infighting when we played them a few weeks ago. So an easy 3 points for the teams that were scheduled to play them in these remaining games.

Wenty 3 - Toonie 2. Toonie were up 2-0 at half time after a couple of well worked goals down Wenty's left side. Wenty started strong & quick in the second half and were playing some good Football, but we were holding them out. After about 10 mins, Wenty scored a goal when one of their blokes was 5-10 metres off-side still walking back after we cleared it & went up field. It was so off-side that a 14yo son from Wenty who was walking the sideline said it was off-side. Well the game deteriorated from there with some disgracefully biased refereeing. Another controversial goal to go 2-2. There 3rd goal was a great strike from 20 out to give them the lead with about 12 mins to go. 2 mins later their referee blew the final whistle even though we still have over 10 mins remaining. It's been the same with these blokes every game over the past 3 years. They are a good football side, but just every time you get in front, the dirty tactics come out & if you happen to be at their home ground, just blatant cheating. They are a good football team and really don't need to stoop to that level. If they play proper football for the whole game, they will beat most teams. Hasn't been an enjoyable week and half for us boys after the Auburn debacle, a forfeit at the ground against Greys & now this. At least next round against St Micks we know we will get a good clean game. On the positive side of things we did manage 2 recruit 2 players from Greys. 2 great guys & very handy seeing we have only played with 11 or 12 every game.
Ermo 3-1 Winsto. 0-0 at halftime but a goal to Ermo early in the 2nd made it 1-0. Winsto equalised soon after, however 2 penalties (both deserved) gave Ermo a 3 -1 win. Another good effort by Ermo to get the 3 points. So with Auburn getting a 2-1 win over 2nd placed Micks we now have a 5 point lead at the top and a bye next week that could extend that lead to 8 points.
