What happened to the "table topping bye beating" might of Baulko? 12 goals shipped in 2 games??? My my my........ The Ville have ended the 1st round undefeated...... I think it's been awhile (if ever) since that feat was last achieved...... Can they go all season??
No Excuses from Baulko Conway and Dog for the results from last weekend. We believe the two squads we played are the best two squads we have come up against so far this year. We couldn't even blame the canteen , as they did have chocolate bars and kebabs I was told. Looking forward to Saturday.
So 11 years since it was last achieved.... Should have known it would have been toonie minus the Kolts.... Great achievement and nothing to ever be taken lightly! That rarely happens at any level of the game..... No offence kooooka but claiming you played the best 2 squads in the league after being obliterated by them is kinda something you have to say..... Rydalmere are far from the best..... They are decent ......

Ok, as we head into the second round. How does everyone see the season playing out? Is there a dark horse out there or will the usual suspects finish top 4? My prediction in order: 1.Kellyville (maybe on goal difference, ville and aub fc top 2 for sure, 2 best teams I've seen in 2015) 2. Auburn fc 3. castle hill 4. Rydalmere / baulko
I can't go past Auburn FC , I think they are by far the best squad in the competition, followed by castle hill, kellyville and baulko. To me Newington, toongabbie, rydalmere, parra city and Auburn district are all in the same boat, they are obviously rebuilding. I'm sorry to offend some people, but I don't rate Kellyville at all, yes they are hard to beat, but I don't think they have the raw skill set of other sides. I am not offiliated with Baulko, but I do think they will be the dark horses at the backend of this season.
Bunga not sure what games you're watching but were you there when the Ville beat Auburn FC ? We'll see what happens next round, don't rate Baulko at all - fast wingers and nick kicks to corners doesn't make a football team. Appreciate your honesty though. Season is shaping up to be a good one alright!!
I actually was keano, but every team does deserve an off day. We all know in football, the best side doesn't always win. I must admit though on that day kellyville were too good. Kellyville are and always will be hard to beat, but in saying that they don't move the ball anywhere as good as teams like castle hill, they do have good depth though, the kellyville ressies play at a good standard. AGAIN it's just an opinion and everyone in football has their own ( we are all experts apparently ). I think your right about baulkos wingers, but they also have quick wide backs who like to push forward and a few good players centrally who can punish anyone on their day.
My assessment of the 1st round is this. The teams with most potential and who push the ball around are newington and auburn district. They actually play football as opposed to most teams who kick and chase. Every other team is either the same as previous years or weaker. If newington and auburn (new) district come to terms with how this league works they could cause a few surprises. Personally I feel auburn FC R weaker than previous years highlighted by the fact that their central midfield captain use to be a reserve player at rydalmere or auburn district if I'm not mistaken.....
I do have to agree, Auburn knock the ball around well, I can't get my head around, why they drop so many games?. I haven't seen Newington play yet, so I'll take your word for it. I do disagree with your comments on Auburn FC though, I think they are stronger than last season, they seem a more balanced side. That central midfielder your talking about is a great player, always has been. I just think he's playing in a team that suits his playing style. Interesting to see how the teams close the season out.
