Norwest 4 Kellyville 0. 2 nil at half time, Kellyville battled well but Norwest are too good and should be in Div.1. I think this has been said before!!!! Should be a good game between them and Parra City this Saturday. Even though we haven't played Parra it looks like they might give Norwest a run for their money based on their results so far.
Giggsy2 you guys have lost key players from last year which wouldn't help the team's cause. You guys last year only lost by one point in both games I think.

Castle Hill 2 Rouse Hill 2
Very proud of our lads today. Playing with 10 against a side with 4 reserves we really held our own. We went up 1 nil after 10 minutes with a well taken goal from a long ball. 1 all soon after but we went back up a goal 2-1 10 minutes later and then 2 all at the break.
Second half we really had our backs to the wall and held on after wave after wave of Rouse Hill Attack that seemed never ending but we kept our shape at the back and denied Rouse Hill a winner. The beers tasted good at the pub after and was worth the aches and pains that will come in the morning. Rouse Hill have a few really good players and apart from a couple of blokes who like a good old hack once the ball is gone are good fellas that enjoy a run around. Hopefully we might have a full team in the next couple of weeks as injuries and a few less players this year makes it real tough.
Parramatta City 2 - Norwest 0 Parra city vs Norwest proved to be an excellent game of football. Played in great spirit and both sides going hard at each other. Game was tense throughout n nil all at half time. Norwest put us under a lot of pressure in second half but defence held strong. Norwest Shld have taken lead with a header that went wide but we had a couple of chances that were converted for a 2 nil win. Tremendous group of players the Norwest boys, great bunch of guys to play against n very gracious. Great football by both sides, looking forward to the next round against them.
The master, no one told me to apologise. If ur player says it was by accident I acceptes that. As for dives that's ur interpretation. I appealed for free n then went in with the game. I personally thought it was a great game n cld have gone either way. The few players I spoke with from Notwest were all gracious n great bunch of guys. Ur comments smell like abit of sour grapes, but hey ur entitled to ur opinion. We too were missing 2 players n I expect our next games to be just as tightly contested. As I said I apologised coz it's the right thing to do if someone says the back okay hit was by accident, I accepted his version. Do u not agree master that it was a good game regardless.
Our best defensive effort all season but unfortunately to no avail. Good game played by 2 passionate teams.
Baulko had had the run of play and dominated however we held out well and it wasn't until at best a dodgy penalty given by official ref, saved by Winsto keeper only to go in on the 2nd attempt from the pen taker. Winsto deservedly got back on even ground with about 10 to go through a nice hit shot from the Centre Back. Ref could have given 2nd pen to Baulko for hand ball, had the whistle to his lips and decided to even the ledger and wave it away.( he did apologise to Winsto at end of the game for the 1st pen decision.....)
Baulko had to many chances to talk about and were either cleared off the line or saved , until the last kick of the game which was very well taken strike that hit the roof of the net.
There's a win not far away for our boys , just got to keep showing up and it will come with performances like that.
Whilst there was plenty of little niggle out on the field which both teams took part in, one sour note was Baulko #8 attempt to push our right back into the metal fence with the ball out. Wake up to yourself you peanut, the next guy may not be as forgiving.

thetruth, i agree with you was a great tough even game yesterday played in good spirits, can I apologise for the themasters comments, as they do smell of sour grapes which is very disappointing. Not sure who he is but once I find out he may not be welcome at Norwest any longer. We have a no d/head policy and the his comments are not reflective of the the rest of the nirwest teams views
Toooftenakeeper, thanks for ur comments much appreciated. As I've said was a tremendous game played by 2 quality sides. And again I believe either team cld have won it. We were just lucky to put our chances away when u guys cld have easily scored before that. N I agree ref n linesman were great. Again thanks for the gracious comments after the game by nearly all players. N I truly believe some good bonds and friendships will come from both these sides. Good luck for the rest of ur games, except against us lol

No probs thetruth, We all really enjoyed the contest and both teams had their chances, your teams two goals were quality finishes which proved the difference, atleast 1 by you I think? good luck to you boys also see you at Francesco in the 2nd round.
Some interesting results this past week. Congrats to all, humble in victory and also defeat. It's great to hear reports where there's no excuses for a defeat. Seems like there's some decent teams, and blokes around. I'm very much looking forward to next Saturday!!
Shabby, good to know you're still out there. With Notworthy retiring we're short of decent bloggers.
What are we going to do next year when Parra and Norwest are in Div 1? Going to ne nuttin to whinge about....
Pendo too good for the Ville. Only sloppy finishing and the Ville keeper keeping the score to 2. Pendo decent bunch. Nice to know games are going to be hard but with no malice, and late stuff is apologised for
Not too many posts about Lidcombe. They appear to be the quiet achiever. Any comments from opponents who wish to divulge how to play them?
With Lidcombe i would suggest you do not attack their left side. Their right fullback would have to be the quickest player in the league and shuts down pretty much everything that comes his way. He is a physical player and forwards have a hard time against him.
Attack their right side and if you can get under their skin they start to turn on each other.

Baulko 3 Rouse Hill 0
Catch up game tonight. Both teams a bunch of wingeing old moles at the ref, a couple of crude tackles (both teams) bloody embarrassing. Grow up boys, all the BS is the reason we don't get and/or keep refs. Grow up!
A few kids watching the game which makes it even worse, thanks to the ref and his two junior linesman, remember boys, these kids are potentially our future refs.

Thanks socceraddict. Will tell the team and see how we go.
Shabby. Yes I agree with you. Both teams acted like a bunch of old moles. Not a good look for the kids watching or the young linespeople who were there. And yes it is the reason why the O35's do not get refs.
Even though the game was played under lights on a Thursday night it was park Football and not being played at ANZ Stadium with 80k spectators. Both teams wanted to test the ref with the push and shove on and off the ball and then the verbal against the ref when the decision went against them...... From what I saw Rouse did not cope with it well and paid the penalty for it.
In the end not the best game that I have seen but the better team on the night got up.

RSL 2 Baulko 1
Very enjoyable game on Saturday and happy to get the 3 points. Started with 10 but 5 minutes in we had the bare 11. Scored after about 15 minutes from a well taken 1 on 1 with the keeper and just passed the ball into the net for 1 nil. Baulko got the equalizer about 30 seconds from halftime with a superb strike from just outside the 18 yard box so 1 all at oranges. We did get another player turn up at halftime after Referee duties for The u13sso for the first time this year we had a sub. 2nd half was mostly all Baulko but our defence held strong and with around 3 minutes left a great cross from Darryl and a cracking header from Sozzy in the top corner and we got the win.
Shabby our manager is quite a funny bloke and some of the banter at the pub afterwards is priceless. See you next round
