Was 1-1 and it happened bout 60th min! They got one of our players late it was a bad tackle and our bloke said something, than 4 of there players were grabbing our guy and then there bench ran in and 5 supporters and one of them hit our guy, so the reff said he'll have to abandoned the game which was fair enough it Was pretty bad mate. Unlucky with the result too mate, sounds like you guys put up a good fight!
Bloody hell that's pretty full on. Yeah u are right it doesn't sound like the ref had many options. Our game was a good tough one. We were up 2-1 with 10 to go when Kellyville bagged an equaliser. Both teams put in a big effort and they got us in Penalties. Keep us up to date with what the fall out is from ur game.
Norwest was playing a great game and we where dominating most of the game. It will be a real shame if both teams get banned as Granville were definitely the aggressors. Their bench and some of their supporters ran onto the pitch. Just plain retarded!
We will argue our case, should know an answer by Wednesday.

Holroyd 2 Kellyville 2
Good tough game against the Rangers saw the Kolts gallop out to an early lead from a fairly simple goal within the first 10mins. Looking like we'd do it easy, we switched off for the rest of the half and got caught out of position after losing possession conceding off the counter a couple of times. Their crowd was going wild and the coach was getting a bit ahead of himself calling us a bunch of girl thingies and reminding us we were "boys in a mans league". The banter from the sideline was free flowing and he seemed to be enjoying himself but it was to be short lived.
Going into the break 2-1 down at half time we knew Holroyd had bottled it from a 2-0 lead last time so gave them every chance of doing the same this time. Sure enough they did and we got an equaliser with about 15 to go. With their confidence shattered, both teams rallied hard for the rest of the game and into extra time and we eventually edged them in penalties. Will be a good grand final if they can suck it up and win their next game against whoever that may be...
You come on here all year begging for a challenge. Putting sh*t on every other team, saying the comp isn't good enough for you guys and no one can match it with your talent. Then you get two really tough games at the end of the season both finishing 2-2 (where u guys trailed at halftime in both). Then when u finally get what u want u put crap on the team that stuck it to you claiming they only scored 2 counter attack goals and then did sweet FA for the rest of the game. Come on champ grow up. We played well, had plenty of chances, you guys played well also had plenty of chances. No one could break the deadlock even after extra time. Fair play u guys got it on penalties. Any way my point is wouldn't hurt to acknowledge u finally got that challenge u have all supposedly been craving. Hope to see u in 2 weeks.... By the way we don't have a coach mate.
Norwest, Granville Kewpies & the refs all submitted their incident reports on Sunday, and there was a judiciary hearing on Thursday night.
This is essentially what happened during the match: 1. Norwest RB contests and wins a header over the Granville forward (ref calls play on) 2. Norwest RB clears the ball, then the Granville forward comes in late with a lifted elbow and connects with the Norwest players jaw 3. Norwest player pushed and grabbed the Granville player, who pushed the Norwest player back (meanwhile play was continuing) 4. Another Granville player ran over and grabbed the Norwest player from behind dragging him over the sideline 5. 3-4 other Granville players arrive, with 2 Norwest players. Eventually most of the players arrive and everyone is pushing each other saying let go of the Norwest player 6. This eventually spills onto the other field, and the other game stops play 7. A Granville spectator runs onto the field and joins in on the pushing 8. Ref stops the game
In the refs report he mentioned that Norwest & Granville players were punching each other and tackling each other to the ground for 10 minutes. (Exact wording in the report)
NOT A SINGLE PUNCH WAS THROWN, and the teams were controlled after about 1min...
Norwest has put in an appeal to the GDSFA, requesting a match with Holroyd mid-week.
