Hi I just heard a rumour that round 3 will be played on Sunday the 10th of May. I just looked up the Granville Screen Saver and there is no info for Round 3 so could someone let us know what is going on with Granville not putting up any news in the last month or so.
dodgee I suspect it relates to ground availability but round 3 catchups for our teams at home, and some away, are this Sunday 3 May. Last I checked this Sunday's catchups are already available on the granville website
Forget about round 3 or 4 this weekend in the Holroyd area, council just advised ALL GROUNDS closed till Tuesday 05/05/15, there has to be some way that councils have to start looking at artificial pitches.

have you all gone mad? rainfall this week has been a staggering 3.4mm!!! and you're talking about closing grounds... unbelievable... stop looking for reasons to cancel rounds and look for reasons to play them... hills council has closed grounds today... why? this is getting ridiculous...
Hey Puff read below champion, it's definetely not me, i am with you and would want to play this weekend, hence why i suggest that councils start looking at alternative solutions to get games in.
Sports Ground Closures During times of extreme weather conditions Council will assess its playing fields and update the information line by 3pm Monday to Thursday and by 12 noon on Fridays. This information line is available to the public 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
When Council determines that grounds are open users remain responsible for determining the suitability of grounds for use of individual grounds in terms of player safety and potential ground damage and are requested to exercise discretion in the event of any wet weather.
If you aren’t sure if a sporting ground is open you can check below or phone Council’s Ground Closure Information Line on (02) 9294 1418.
Puff ,300mm rain the week before. If it was only 3mm thats fine, but the fields were water logged to start. Its a long season and people complain if they have to play on dirt for the rest of the year.Which is what you will have if you bugger the fields up now. You've got the rest of the year to blame council for your knee injury. Enjoy some lush fields while you can
Plan on working around the house on the weekend as there will be no games played. It bucketed down most of last night and it is bucketing down again right now and they are predicting more wild weather tomorrow & Sunday. If the round has not been officially cancelled yet, rest assured it will be shortly.
