Pendle Hill definitely the team to beat this season they are a Div 2 team playing in 3's. Top 4 will start to sort itself out over the next few rounds. Granville must be close to the money only narrowly going down to Pendo...plus it sounds like they like a beer which surely has to count for something. Rouse Hill starting to get results in the longest road trip since Perth Glory headed to Wellington...and Newington finally have their first home game of the season this weekend after being on the road longer than Angus Young. Roll on Saturday.
Your probably right Cuptied about PH but I haven't seen Newington play yet and I believe with all bodies on deck they will be dangerous. PH vs RH this week will be interesting with a few PH players missing through injury. I think they will play strong back on Binalong Number 1 where lots of them forged their careers some 20 years ago. Will be trying to get there late as it will be a good drink after the game

Market Movers this week:
Pendo - 6/4....still to take the title - they did enough, from my vantage point they rotated their 5 on the bench well last game. Don't let the injury report get in the way of this Div 2 team playing in Div 3.
Rouse Hill - 3-1....Big Firmers into 2nd fav. Strong form. Watched them against GW earlier in the round and certainly the dark horse. This weeks clash against PH should be a beauty.
GW - The table indicates to me that they are having to work hard for any draw or win so I wouldn't be putting any hard earned cash just yet. They may drift in the betting. Better to wait until after the Newington game as I hear they have plenty of injuries. Best odds right now 4-1.
Newington - These guys are the dark horse in what I believe is a four horse race. Saw them against PH and they can compete but gave away too much of a start. Would offer 6-1 right now.
The bolter - definitely Parra City...10-1..nothing like staying in the barriers but very capable of being their at season end..
Rest of the field would write their own ticket...or start booking their end of season trip..

Winsto WHT happy to fly under the radar..for now. Just saying though, beat Newington , lost 1-0 late to both GW &RH and actually led PH 1-0 for 50min ( before conceding 4..). Only played 6 games together and hoping to go 3 in a row come Saturday v PC. Like the idea of write your own ticket OEE. How much you prepared to hold?? End of season trip could be huge!!
OEE- we are building and have added a couple of younger fellas . Also had our starting CB away for the past 5 weeks, hopefully back from June onwards. Team starting to get used to each other and we will get better. Not saying we are up to PH standard , but fairly confident we will be in or around the 4 come August. Not sure how many points teams need, but history shows low 30's usually get you a gig.
Great friendly game controlled really well by a young B&W. Parra scored after 10, nice goal chipping the keeper. We got back on even terms about after 20 min after their keeper and CB made a meal out of whose ball it was, our striker decided it was his and things erupted between themselves. Well managed by their Captain who didn't play , taking a hot head off to calm things down.
We went ahead from a corner with a nice header and were unlucky not to go in to the break 3-1 up with a good chance missed just before the half.
Parra came out a different team in the 2nd half and dominated, however they really didn't take advantage of the chances we gave them. Wasn't till 15 to go that they actually scored a well deserved goal. We almost pinched it at the end when our striker went round their keeper only to spray it wide..
Draw probably a fair result, saying that Parra would be disappointed with the amount of possession we gave them.
Some interesting results last weekend. PH against RH was a great game to watch. Played in good spirits by 2 teams who enjoy their soccer. One of the PH lads (Fluffy I think) got a bit excited and had a bit of push and shove but nothing too major. RH are a good team but lost a key player early which dented their go forward. The Lynchenator proved again hard to stop with 2 ruthless strikes on goal. The RH keeper was outstanding and kept them in the game. Will be interesting to see how PH go in next few weeks with plenty of injured players. From what I saw they will be lucky to field 11 this week

OEE, It is was it is mate, and we all know the team to beat this year, so I have no problem with it. Every team is beatable on the day & it is not like they are smashing teams every week, so I think that any team that steps up in the GF against them has a good chance.
It won't be us if we play like last week & Newington deserved the win. A deflection, own goal & penalty didn't help us but we played crap & and only put in, in 10 min spurts, so we never had a chance & that Dudek fellow is bloody quick & should be banned from O/35's
This is a really close comp and unless you are putting in 100% each week, you will be punished, I just hope we realise that before it is too late.
There is nearly always a team ahead of the pack in most divisions, most years. After 4 games it looked as though Parra would walk Div 2 , but that has changed. Always looks bad when someone moves down from the original grading and then runs the board though
What will be interesting will be next year when Parra, Erm and one other are moved to Div 1, and PH, Gran and RH are moved to Div 2 (no one gets relegated). My prediction will be a reduction of O35 teams and a rise in O45's, as those eligible decide not to play in higher divs
