I am sorry to write this but Granville are struggling big time, the draw is out and some divisions have only 6 teams, take Over 35's div 1, 6 teams and two are from Parra, embarrassment to say the least. I just feel sorry for some teams that will play each other 3/4 times a season, hopefully no arguements in the first game, good luck to everyone
Apparently the clubs with O35s teams were contacted a week ago and told there had only been 12 teams nominate for O35s. They were asked if they preferred 1 div of 12 teams, or 2 divs of 6 teams each. Since then another team joined to make 13 teams in total. I would say most of these clubs opted for the 2 divs option which is why GDSFA have set it up as they have. I say kudos to GDSFA for asking the affected clubs for what their preferences were beforehand.
If I came across to strong I apologise, All I am saying is when I played over 35's there was 5/6 divisions and I honestly thought the over 45's would grow and the 35's decrease. Makes sense players playing the twilight of there years at a more gentile pace. To only have 2 divisions is embarrassing but we have expect this with SHFA getting bigger and bigger. Good luck to all teams in Granville and a passionate ex player will be watching many games at many levels. Football being the winner
Actually 15 teams in O35's Div 1 is 6 teams and Div 2 is 9 teams (according to Icompman). Why not have 1 div of 8 and 1 div of 7 ?? As it was stated earlier, such an embarrassment for Granville but the wriitng was on the wall a couple of years back. I've been associated with Granville (Ermo 35's) since 2009 as a player , then coach and got out of it this year for personal reasons but will try to get to some of the games. Good luck to all.

The Hills comp has given the granville comp a big hit. i reckon we will be merging with another association soon enough. I hope not though. would be good for the remaining teams to all band together and make a great comp
I feel the teams that are left are the ones on trial, it is up to these clubs to promote the Granville Association and tell the people that it is a good association to play in. Any mishaps or fights etc, I feel it will be good night Charlie. How many divisions actually have 10 teams in it ?, what I mean by this is that there are so many divisions having 5/6 teams in it. Combining 17/18 into a youth division. Will Granville be around in 2 years ??
Is there no draw on Granville Website or am I looking at it incorrect.
Its all over the shop on Compman, counter. In the 21s, a few days ago there was an additional new team. Now, there are 2 less teams shown. By the time the rain eases up and we actually get to play ( like 22nd April hopefully ), all the glitches should be sorted.
