Re Cottam Cup, there are only 20 teams drawn to play rnd 1 tonight as per GDSFA web. GDSFA say that some teams have withdrawn but there were 32 teams in the draw last week. Surely 12 teams haven't gone. Please explain.
Have seen posts that there is a couple of games next week. Would like to know who's left however, if 10 teams have pulled out then the comp needs some work! A penalty system or something to stop this happening.

Rydalmere 3 vs 3 Dragons according to compman.
Played in the Greystanes vs Holroyd match in front of a crowd of around 100 at Bathurst ST. Physical game for both sides but played in great spirits. Holroyd missed a penalty early in the second half and we bagged the winner with 15 to go. Both teams probably deserved something out of the game but we dug deep and got the points. Great to have Premier League back in the association, nothing like a Prems game under lights!
Anyone watch any of the games? How was the quality?
Saw the Pendle Hill vs Kewpies game. Kewpies started very well and scored first. Pendle Hill slowly worked their way back in the game scoring before half time making it 1-1 at the break. Second half Pendle Hill scored 3 more and kept Kewpies out of the game. A very good game to watch with both teams playing fantastic soccer. Pendle hill have a very good attack and are solid in defence. Interesting to see how the other teams went.
Auburn Dist 2 - Parramatta City 3 Parra City visited the (2017 PL champions) Auburn Dists in Rnd 1. The report received - PC scored first, AFC equalised for 1 - 1 half time. PC scored 2nd goal then went down to 10 (keeper in the bin for 10) then scored a 3rd goal before before back to 11. AFC scored their 2nd in the 93rd.
