The similarities are even more "freaky" than that.........
One of our defenders was blind sided by a cheap shot (or punch) in back play........WOW!, that must bring back memories hey bud?
The difference between our result last year and saturday's result was that there was a legitimate reason for the extra time extension due to afore mentioned time wasting tactics employed by our oposition on the weekend. No such excuse for the ref's time keeping last year.
I realise your boys were tired and wasn't criticising your style of play i was merely providing a commentary on the game. Good luck in 1st's next week mate and go gettem in COC's.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog that counts.
seabiscuit, our reserve grade team did well over your first grade team last week.seriously it was a good game.
after we lost 18 players last year and we replaced them with young kids from our juniors it was always going to be tough to repeat last years effort.
as a club we believe we will dominate the premier league in the years to come with our young squad. throw in the fact that our 17/1 are state champions and 15/1 underfeated grand finalist and our 14/1 who will compete in the grand final this week.
watch out boys auburn will be even stronger next year in both grades.
by the way sir alex isnt st joseph over the salary cap with all the internationals in the team. they still couldnt win the comp. rumours are tony wants to sign up A league players next?
no matter who you sign ex state , ex super youth league players you wil never have it over Auburn.
Good luck Kellyville this week cos your going up against one of the best teams in the comp this week. well done to our boys who only lost 1 game all year, not including 2 penalty shootouts. With a youth coming through and this years experience, the future does look exciting.
henry and siralex. you are not the only club with some decent juniors coming through not to sure if you seen our 17s on sat but there are a couple of young boys there that our coach cant wait to see in the prems. and from what i saw i dont think auburn had the best players,so yes times ahead are looking strong
This is my opinion and i don't give a toss what you think
He tore intercostal muscles between his ribs, which was why he was having so much trouble and pain breathing. We were obviously a bit worried about a punctured lung or something for a while there, but the RN who assisted and a paramedic on the phone pretty much cleared him of that and once he was in hospital with appropriate pain medication they were able to stabilise his heart rate and breathing. He was released early the next morning and will be on painkillers for a while. He had had an accident that morning which probably caused sprains in those muscles, then a slight jolt at some stage in the game has caused them to tear. More excitement than we needed but at least he's ok.
Auburn, Thats all you guy's have going for you.....you intimidate sides to where they don't feel like playing against you. Joey's by far the most skillful team in the comp....the problem is they poach so many players that it always takes them sometime to hit their stride.....But as you and also Toonie for that fact know you don't have to be skillful to win games you just have to intimidate people.
I don't think you will be able to intimidate Bauko on the weekend and if the referee pulls out some early yellows your team could be in trouble.
Thatsme, Your a goose. Dont come on here and try to stir crap. Auburn under new coaching in the past two years have finished 2nd and 1st in the premier league, and 2nd and 2nd in ressies. Yeah and im sure its from intimidating opposition. If you have actually played against Auburn you wouldnt say that. Well done Joeys, i agree they have the best technical players in the comp, but we beat them easy and Baulko did it even easier. Winning vs looking pretty, i no which 1 i would choose...
Im just happy it took you all year, and Auburn making their second consecutive Grand final for you to make comments about us. I guess people hate you when your winning all the time. I dont blame you, i'd be jealous if it was the other way around.
thatsme are you intimidated?you sound like it. give credit where its due.if you envy us its understandable, this is not the end,its only the start of years of success, get used to it if your not already.
