Winsto Blk 2 St Johns 1
We played very lazy, relaxed and down right shocking football. No intensity at all. We went behind 1-0 early on when a St Johns player (who spent more time on the ground than he did his feet) went down in the box trying to take the ball off one of our defenders and the ref pointed to the spot. Despite being down we played the rest of the half like we were in front and didn't push the tempo at all. 10 minutes into the second half we finally bury a nicely worked opportunity. We had a winner with 10-15 minutes to go disallowed because the keeper (who had the fumbles all game) apparently had the ball kicked out of his hands. Thankfully got the winner with less than 5 to go and played out the last frantic few minutes to get the points. Very uninspiring performance.
7 rounds in and don't ask me how we keep getting these 1 goal wins. I reckon we've played more games at Bino this year than u Pendo boys too.

Ermo 1 Winsto Blk 1
I told the boys to play to the conditions but instead we played like them ... miserably. Full credit to Ermo, not sure how they hadn't scored a point before today. They have a couple of very quick blokes one of whom got in behind us and scored a very good goal. Our finishing was attrocious second half in-particular.
missing 4 boys due to other commitments had us feeling like we were going to do it tough and to add to our problems a player that we had registerd 2 weeks ago was not aloud to play because granville had not sent his card out to us, still the boys fought hard, we just didnt take our chances as well as winsto did. see how we go on monday the day of the socceroos game....

Winsto Blk 1 drew Toonie 1
They only had 6 players at 1pm but no official ref so we waited and they had 9 at kick-off at 1:10 and 11 by 1:13 I reckon. We had 11 fit players and an emergency injured sub which we had to use in the end cos a few people were suffering. Both teams dominated in patches but largely Toonie played the better football. We did well to get a draw in the end.
a very tough game for us to play as boys away and most of the team going to city on the sunday night to watch the socceroos game and the basicaly head to our game and one player making the trip back from newcastle in the morning so he could play. started with 9 and went down 3 nil early, some more boys showed up and we had 12 and started to play better but definatly not at our best. a couple of losses in a row now hopefuly we can turn it around. good to see the boys sticking together thru the tough times

Just been informed Rouse Hill have forfeited their game against us today apparently because of lack of numbers. They lost 3-0 to Toonie and 8-2 to St Johns last weekend so could be world cup related? Maybe more forfeits to come. Lets hope not!
