Looks like there will be a couple of close games next Saturday.
CHU v Hills Brumbies. Looks like the Brumbies are going to be a force this year and with CHU losing to Pendle Hill last weekend, it will be very interesting to see the result of this game. I would have said CHU to win, but if Pendle Hill can beat them maybe Brumbies can as well. I will tip a draw.
Pendle Hill v Kellyville - I won't be tipping this one. Haven't seen either team play this year, but if I had to guess, draw.
Baulko v Parra City - Baulko to win.
Winston Hills v Auburn - I reckon this could be a draw but my son reckons Auburn by 1.
new to this so hi all from winston . we haven't been able to find our game or spirit yet congrats to brumbies . wnsto should really have been up 1-0 with a runaway , hit the post on another occassion and scored 2 own goals , figure all that out ...

Another good game heading our way with Brumbies and CH Utd as match of the round. Anon good to see your confident with your tips this week exspect for the one regarding Baulko and Parra City don't under write them off yet, they still some good soccer.
Kolts vs Pendo ..... Pendo by 2 Brumbies vs CH Utd .... CH Utd will bounce back from last weeks defeat and will win by 1 Baulko vs Parra City .... i think Baulko but only by 2 Winsto vs Auburn ... i feel Auburn could come away with win 2 - 1
At least Pendo can say they have reached the 2nd round as if the winner from W1 is Balgownie they will be playing against last years C OF C and Sydney Cup winner for this age group, but then again anything is possible.
Tough draw for Pendo in the Sydney Cup. I think you were there when they beat Baulko in the semi final last year. They were an impressive team. I think everyone in GDSFA should be giving tips on how Pendo can beat them. If they don't get knocked out early on, we are all on a tragectory to meet them if we are successful - some sooner than others.
Baulko play Wakehurst in their first game. I think they were runners up in the C of C last year. Can anyone confirm that for me.

Today's effort from Pendo was disgusting. To tell you the truth there was no football played today be either teams. Kolts just played the long ball and hoped a forward would get the ball and Pendo fell into the same style of play. A big improvement is required for Pendo's next game. CH Utd and Baulko had they played Pendo today would have scored in double figures. You could say i was disappointed with Pendo today after last weeks effort.
Yes Diverdan Wakehurst was the team that were runners up. I saw this team play in the semi final and final of C of C last season. I think Baulko can match them and Wakehurst were luck to reach the C of C final last season. If i recall there coach is every loud.
The table is spread out pretty well after 4 rounds. Remember, they are the 4 rounds that repeat at the end of the season. Hills Brumbies have done well being matched up against the current top 3 teams in their 1st 4 games and coming away with 2 wins. Their run for the next 4 weeks is on paper a bit easier for them, so they would be expecting to clock up a few wins on the trot.
Baulko have only faced up to 1 of the top teams so the next 2 weeks v Pendo and CHU will be interesting to watch.
CHU have played 2 of the top 3 teams and have lost 1 of those games.
Pendo have played 2 of the top 3 teams and have lost one of those games, but then by all reports had a shocker last weekend. Maybe the downer after defeating CHU the week before.
It seems that the lower 4 teams are also able to upset the apple cart. I can't quite pick the form of Kellyville. They seem to be able to come up with draws versus teams they should lose to and teams they should beat.
I think this season is panning out to be less predictable than last. Thoughts?
Pendo v Baulko may have been tight but the game was most disappointing because it was basically a kick and chase affair. What happened to all the hype about Baulko playing a structured passing game? Pendo were unlucky not to have won the kickfest (even though they were not punished for giving away a penalty). I predict neither team to make it far in the Sydney cup with that style of play. I'll be glad to be proved wrong.

Soca have to agree was disappointed not much football played by either side but Pendo scrambled well in defence. But when both teams did decide to play some football it was ok. There is still room for improvement from both teams and this will come. Your comment regarding the State Cup Pendo will have a hard game first up most likely against Balgownie last years C of C and Sydney Cup winners in this age group and alos this team competed in the Centenary Cup and from reports i receive Balgownie played against some very good teams completing in Metro League. Baulko also has a hard game first up against Wakehurst last years C of C runners up, but don't under estimate any Granville Association teams they always rise to any big occassion as there not just playing for the Club but also for there Association with pride.
Curveball how do find playing against Kolts. Well we almost did you a favour as well leading but then an error in defence allowed Baulko to equalise and thank goodness the penalty went sraight to our goalkeeper. Overall glad we got a point.
Looking forward to your game against Baulko. By the way the draw is going to help them in the end if you know what i mean.
