I watched the CHU v Kellyville game and Kellyville didn't seem to play well against a team that knocks the ball around. They played kick and chase alot whereas CHU tried to keep structure and made them run around alot. KV scrambled and cleared the ball alot of times but didn't hold much possession. I would have put this down to 80% CHU - 20% KV.
The other thing that I noticed was that CHU strung together 6 or more passes on about 18 separate occassions whereas KV were lucky if they got 2 passes together...
Kolts were a tough team to play and they never stopped trying and will give most opposition a challenge.
Regarding the draw, I think Baulkho have the better run home out of our three clubs i.e Pendo, CHU and Brumbies have to play each other three times whilst Baulkho plays Brumbies three times but Pendo and CHU twice.
Baulkho being undefeated so far would have to be favorites for another MP.

My tips for the weekend.
Winsto vs. Pendo ...... Pendo by 2 Kolts vs Brumbies ...... Brumbies by 2 but Kolts could give them a scare with the way they play. Auburn Districts vs. Parra City .... close game but Parra City by 1 Baulko vs. CH Utd ..... Match of the round i believe this time around CH Utd will be to strong and will win by 2.
Good luck all teams and make sure you enjoy yourselves.
Diverdan, your sentence "CHU played much better than Baulko in all aspects" says it all. It is pleasing to finally see a team that plays the game the way it should - as a team. The CHU coach/coaches should be very proud of their handywork. Baulko played just like a team scared of losing.

Pendo dominated the game from the start today and it was good to see some passing but Pendo need to have a few more shoots further out when the opportunity comes. Pendo 4 Winsto nil.
I think CH Utd had something to prove today and they had a good lead up to this game which i think helped. Now this has made the top four positions interesting but as i said previously last four games will sort out the final positions because of the draw.

Looking forward to the clash with Balgownie as the underdogs we are hoping the Pendo boys will lift to the occassion. Maybe we should tell them that were really playing against CH Utd, they could then find the same spirit they have when they play against CH Utd.
I hope Baulko will lift after there poor form of late and produce the football we know they can play. I am sure the Brumbies will do there best and do themselves and the Association proud. I feel confident CH Utd will be to strong when playing against West Ryde Rovers as CH Utd has some good lead up games for this contest.
Good luck everyone instead of trying to beat each other now we are as one playing not just for our clubs but for the Association. Looking forward to the match reports from everyone.

Pendo 3 Auburn 0, some good football played but still some room for improvement in some areas of the game.
Well the match against last years Sydney Cup & C of C winners for this age group had arrived and i must say i was very proud of the way Pendo played against Balgownie. Both teams displayed some entertaining football today and the Balgownie coaching staff praised on Pendo performance, they also commented on how lucky they were that Pendo made a couple of errors which allowed them to score 2 goals. There last goal in the last few minutes sealed the game for Balgownie. Well done Pendo for a good effort today.

will the weather hold out for the start of round 2 and cant the be some turn around results with the match of the round being Baulko and Brumbies.
Parra City vs Pendo ..... interesting game with Parra City stepping up against the top 4 teams but Pendo will come away winners by 1 Brumbies vs. Baulko ..... i think Brumbies might reserve the first round loss to a 2 goal win. Winsto vs. Kolts .... is this a wear you need to sit on the fence or take a punt both teams coming off a bit of high score loss last weekend, anyway a think Kolts by 1 Auburn vs. CH Utd .... CH Utd will be to strong for Auburn again. CH Utd by 3
Good luck everyone and i hope everyone gets to play this weekend.
