Parra City's. He scored two, set up a lot of their play and was unlucky not to score some more. He was given a lot of space though which he may not get against other teams, but he definately made a difference
Diverdan - by difficult times I mean short of players. Only had 10 of our regular boys with a couple injured and one suspended!
State Cup Update - Hills Hawkes 0 - CHU 3
Very proud of the boys again today playing with only 10 regular players for same reason as stated above. The game was played in very good spirits and in very cold conditions and after yesterday's effort short of players, they again showed great determination.
We would like to thank our 12 div 2 player who helped us out today!
We will be up against Leichardt APIA Tigers in the final who beat Bonnyrigg 3 - 1.
Hopefully we can go one better than last season and win the final for GDSFA!

Well done CH Utd on your efforts to make the State Cup Final. As i have said previous i believe you can win the final this season especial with the way your team has been playing lately with a lot confidence.
Brumbies 3 Auburn 2 Baulko 4 Brumbies 3
The season is getting interesting now. Over the next few weeks should finally decide who will be in the top 4. Interesting in the new signing for Parra City and i have heard maybe another project 22 player could be joining Parra City. With these new signings could see Parra City sneaking into the top 4.

Big weekend for Pendo with a catchup game against Brumbies and a round 13 game as well against Winsto both being played at Binalong Oval.
Round 13 has a top of a table clash with CH Utd vs Baulko this could decide who will be the minor premiers for the season. I believe CH Utd will win this game as there form has been outstanding over the last few weeks. CH Utd by 2 Brumbies vs. Kolts ...... Brumbies will bounce back this week (in this game anyway) and will win by 3 Parra City vs. Auburn ..... Parra City will come away winners in this game now they have a midfielder who is a leader and can control the midfield. Pendo vs. Winsto ..... even though Pendo didn't play last weekend Pendo should still come away winners by 2
Pendo vs. Brumbies ...... what a great game this should be, as both teams can play good football. But i think Pendo will win this game by 1.

Curveball you heard right Pendo came away winners today 3 nil against Winsto. Pendo played some good football in various stages of the game but still need to be consistant throughout the whole game. Parra City i believe had a 3 - 2 win against Auburn.
Hoping Pendo will come with a positive attitude tomorrow for there clash against Brumbies.

Well done Baulko you deserved to win today. Disappointed in the way Pendo played today some wrong options by some players and is cost Pendo dearly. The field was a disgrace slippery and dangerous for both teams, i thought the referee would have the game postpone after what i thought was a test on the ground condition (slipping and then checking where he slipped) or was it his warm up not really sure in the end. Good to see some other spectators from other teams in the competition watching this game. Parramatta City will be happy with the result with a game in hand and only a win away from moving into 4th position. Next few weeks will be interesting when the top 5 teams play each other.
Seeing that Diverdan (post#130) is willing to concede the 2010 minor premiership to CHU I thought I’d tip them to do the association double. This is due purely to CHU’s tactical flexibility. BH have the team to cause CHU serious concern but their system is highly predictable and the defence a bit dubious. Attempts to fix these deficiencies just before the finals may be too late. CHU are highly flexible as proven by the manner in which they fought back from 2 nil down at half time to win 3-2 in their last mtch against BH. As for the finals, rather than a two team race I also think PC will be peaking around then with a full and improved squad. They should have a say on who plays in the grand final. Understandably the Brumbies appear not to have overcome the disappointment of losing their quarter final match in the Sydney Cup. They will need to rediscover some form if they are to be serious contenders in the finals. PH would have been expected to also feature but their last three/four performances seem to suggest they are contented just to be the 2010 Australia Cup (7-a -side competition) champions. CHU have an opportunity to also take out the Sydney Cup against another potentially tough team, Apia. Am looking forward to an interesting end to the season.
Hi Soca Some interesting comments and observations. A predictable method can also be a highly succesful method, we all saw Spain show this in the world cup. In the end you have to play to your strengths and compensate for any weaknesses you may have.
I agree with Parra City, the player they just picked up from Projetc 22 was featured on channel 0 the other week, he is giving serious consideration to moving overseas to play. He is potentially one of the best u/12 players in the country, the big question is what impact can 1 class player make! In this case it appears he is making a massive impact to Parra City. It almost makes you question how a player could be allowed to register in this situation so late in the year.
The reason I think PC will peak in the coming weeks is not because of the P22 player (granted he brings a new dimension to their game). From what I saw of PC before he rejoined they already had some good players who had the potential to be even better because they have a coach who understands the game and how to best utilise his players to the team's advantage. The reasons they didn't do so well for part of the past month was apparently due to suspensions which meant they couldn't play a couple of their better players. As for the P22 player joining late in the season, it shouldn't by itself win them games. Soccer obviously being a team sport one player can't win matches by themself without proper support from their team mates. For all his brilliance Lionel Messi couldn't even get Argentina past the quarter finals of the recent WC finals.

Some interesting comments from both Soca & Piggybank. Have to agree with some of the comments regarding Pendo but i believe they will be there come final series time. Parra City has won some good games of late but they have some interesting games over the next few weeks and this will see if they are real contenders. Even with there new signing they will all (players) need to play some outstanding football yes football and not kick and chase to really cause any concerns against the likes of the other top 4 teams. Looking forward to some good football of the next few weeks from this division. Don't write Pendo off yet there still in with a chance.
