Winston Hills have kept most of their 9/1 team from last year and have played two trials with reasonable form. Looking forward to another competitive and enjoyable season and get some of these kids ready for Metro league trials later in the year.
I enjoy the forum and will add comments from our team throughout the year.

Hi Guy's Rouse Hill are my 9/2's from last season with a couple of new faces. The kids had a great season last year only losing 2 games(unfortunatley they were in the RR oopps). Looking forward to see how they handle the step up to div 1 this season against the best of Granville, hope they have as much fun and enjoyment as last season. See you all at the game.
Pendle Hill had a 6-0 win today against Greystanes. I think Greystanes were a little undermanned today but to their credit they never gave up. Pendle Hill probably werent at their best and got a little goal hungry in the second half, but it is nice to start the year with a win.

Chu 8 RAMS 0 The Rams showed the affect of only 5 training sesions and zero 0 trial games. The first half was a blood bath at 5-0 at the break, second half Rams played a more consistant game but still no match for caso who to thier credit played very well. I think we need to look at the players positions a little harder and I think the team will do alot better. Well played Caso

Hey Rushmore, Don't beat yourself up over this loss, its only the first game in the higher division. The players will take alot on board from this game and see what it takes to play Div1 and they will only improve as the season goes.
Did you retain most of your players from last season?

Not worried about the loss, we lost some players and gained some new ones we actually played against one our players from last season. As I said the kids did show promise late in the game but it was well and trulely over by then, but they kept trying to play better which was great to see. A lot of the kids were playing completely out of their usual playing positions and it showed, but as I am not the coach this season I'm not about to tell the new coach how he should run things as it is not my place and would be disrespectfull.
