We will see how much easier it will be against Pendo, somehow I feel Pendo and any other team will be tough. Unfortunately I won't see the game or next weeks as I will be on holidays, nan and pa have got soccer duties for the next fortnight. Good luck to all teams on Saturday, maybe just a smidge more to the rams.
Baulkham Hills have developed their passing game well and are very organised this year. They went to a 1-0 lead with a well structured goal, we equalised with a great team build up and cross. BH then went to the lead with a scrappy goal in the box. An equaliser should have been given when the ball clearly crossed the line off a corner, should have made it 2-2 with 5 min to go. BH score a goal from a cross on the whistle to win 3-1.
Very happy with a much improved performance by WH and we are capable of competeing with any side if we play like this. This scoreline not a true reflection of the game.
Well Done to BH for taking the win however, and we look forward to playing them again later in the year.
Any other reports, where has everyone gone? This thread has slowed down to a stop!
So far this season Pendle Hill are still waiting to hit their straps. Last week lost 2-0 to Rouse Hill but did not play well at all. Rouse Hill were keener and took their chances. Saturday we lost 1-0 to CHU White. Again not a great game by us but an improvement on the week before. Hopefully the improvement will continue this week against Kellyville.

I see the Rams are up against Baulko this weekend and should be a closely contested game. If the Rams can keep that enthusiasm going they should be able to topple the table leader. Either way it should be a cracker of a game. Go Rams......
Our boys played well in patches today against CH 1's. CH look slightly depleted from last year (project 22?) but still turned up to play. Both teams had chances to take the win and a draw probably a fair result.
We are still building and are already looking forward to our return match with Baulko....
Baulko 6 - Rams 3 Well we were brought back down to earth this week after 2 wins on the trot. Baulko play a very good brand of football with a lovely one two passing game right through their mid field. Down 2-1 in the first half and leading 3-2 midway through the second half which I must admit surprised me a little. Our main striker played a hell of a game fighting for everything and giving the Baulko backs nightmares when he had the ball. With an own goal from our sweeper and a goal kick which was a pass straight to their striker the end was near, Baulko finished it off with a couple of great goals. Even though they scored 6 our goal keeper kept it from being alot more and our boys have learn't alot more of what has to done on the fieldGrats Baulko and Rams better luck next week.

Not so good for Pendle Hill weekend just passed. I missed the game but from all reports Pendo started well and held their own for the first 15mins or so and then conceded a penalty and fell away from there to go down 4-0. I still don't think the boys have really played to their best for a full game, but there are signs of good things to come if they keep at it.
Last week our boys playing one of the best games I seen them play all year Rams 2 - Winsto 2. Held their positions very well and played quite a good passing game, hard fort and well played by both teams.
Caso 5 - Rams 2 Another great improvement on the rnd 1 result 8-0. Rams showing more structure and team work and almost got a third goal but our striker just pushed it just wide of the post. Need to work on corners and goal kicks as we seem to be lacking in that area compared to other teams, and our attacking midfielder needs to drop a little deeper in defense. All in all a great effort and looking forward to another great game against Pendo if the duck pond dry's in time.

Well we smashed the bye on Saturday and played terribble on Monday and went down 2-1 against Pendo who played well. The ref, well at least we had one I guess. Rams need remember what they can play when they pass the ball instead of thumping forward and hoping for the best or going on their own and ignoring their team unmarked team mates trying to do it all ontheir own. Team work is key.
