kellyville beat stanes 3-0 on sunday, good game kellyville up 3 by 20 mins , stanes held them out after that stanes no bench , no keeper , no captain :-). same on sat when we were hammered. McCoist is taking a rest playing and is coaching or assist coaching one of our senior sides i heard. I am sure he will be back after a few niggling injuries next season.

Well, unfortunately the oneleggedbear was relegated back to his normal defensive position today in the rematch from yesterday with Auburn, with the result going 5-1 Auburn's way....yes you read correctly. Well played Auburn, is all I can say......
Common eski0, you have to give somecredit to your new marquee players, at least they make you reach the second place. And no worries... always there is another year, but if i'm you... i'll start organising from today: the over 60's comp.
Be thankful that you have a life, and forsake your vain and presumptuous desire for a second one. – Richard Dawkins
I don't know what Stanes have to do to win a game, kellyville got a soft penalty in the first half with a ball kicked straight at a defender who did not flinch but ball went to hand, penalty. Very ordinary decision. Stanes got one back later in the game unfortunately the ref called several illegal time offs, which you don't have in 45's so Kellyville score the winner in the 48th minute of the second half, once again a bad decision by yet another ref who does not know the rules for the O45's comp. Stanes pressured Kellyville all day and did really deserve the points. Anyway on that form I can't see Kellyville progressing past the first week of the finals, they just don't have what it takes. I've never seen a bigger bunch of whingers either, Kellyville will scream about anything and rely on calling the fouls for the ref and hope there badgering gets the odd call go there way. No skill needed for that.
Good luck to all who make the finals, except Kellyville you sooks !!
Just a clarification Ted, before you blame a ref for not knowing the rules, injury/stoppage time can be played if it is the last game of the day on that field. Im guessing with a 3pm kick off out at Bernie Mullane this was the case so the referee is fully entitled and expected to play injury/stoppage time.
I would like to know when was the last time you played 8min extra time, (not even the PROS PLAY THAT MUCH INJURY TIME ADDED ON).We played all but 3 games at 3PM this year, funny how this was the only game that went into overtime .As far as badgering the ref goes thats part and parcel of the game ,it is just hoped that the ref calls his or hers own game on what they see not what they are told by the home side.Unfotunatley the spirit of the game was sadly lacking at this stage of the season as both sides were playing a dead rubber . All the best to the teams that made the playoffs as the semis top 4 is already settled just be thankful that we have ONE more SHEEP STATION to play for this weekend.
