Interesting Cream - What's the make-up of this team? Wondered whether there would be two KV teams based on last year's Div 2 results. From the Assigned Divisions postings Looks like this year Div 1 will be Auburn Baulko CHU BLK CHU WHT Dundas Greystanes Guildford KV
So only really one change, Baulko for Winsto....
How many teams will forfeit against CHU BLK this year?
the epping boys x 4 went sniffing around CHU and couldn't get a start so I hear they settled on KV as the second best option...nothing like a bit of trophy hunting hey boys.....even though they have won plenty at EE....!!
and the best player I've seen in 35's is back for CHU.....after a year off....might as well submit the engraving paperwork now...

Some of the CHU players are getting on in years and while they can still hold their own in over 35's wouldn't look out of place in 045's. It has to catch up with them some time.
Greystanes last year were the surprise packet making the grand final. If they recruit some more quality players they are certainly in with a chance of some silverware.
Still the CHU fatman seems to pull rabbits out of his hat and players from higher level days gone by. I get the feeling that CHU is really looking for a worthy team to take their mantle so they can concentrate more on what's in the esky.
I wouldn't be wagering my house at ladbrokes this year for a CHU grand final or MP just yet.
Of course we respect your opinion no matter how stupid it is!
As harry seems to have disappeared let me be the one to tell you that Greystanes have recruited very well indeed. My earlier prediction of a Ville double was early and over enthusiastic.....and by recent whispers their recruitment has not been as good as they had hoped (or wished for). New prediction - Greystanes and CHU to cruise this season...who will win out of those 2 is anyones guess.

6 teams in Div 1 and 10 in 2?? That just doesn't make any sense at all.... Going by the team list in the assigned divisions thread, and assuming Guildford only have 1 side, that makes 60 )35 teams..... 10 team comps means you actually get a fair draw and play each other twice, so why not have 6 Divs of 10? Can someone from Granville confirm how Div 1 is shaping up?

No they shouldnt. Any team that can't win the comp should play in a lower grade. The 3 top teams in 35s should play 7 round robins and whoever wins the most is the minor premiers. Where there is a stand out team in any division, they should have to be in a division by themselves.
