Congratulations to both sides. It's good to see that the best 2 teams over the entire season have made it through to Grand Final day. 8.30 is nice and early hope that both teams are able to adjust to the early start and give a good account of themselves. Good luck to the CHill boys who have to back up on Sunday morning and head to Lithgow for Rd 1 of CoC

Congratulations to Castle Hill. My boys were fantastic last week but just weren't able to repeat that today. We were beaten by the better team on the day, and wish the Castle Hill lads all the best for their CofC campaign.
Overall, this season has been very enjoyable and competitive so thanks to all the coaches and players that were involved. I'm stoked that my guys were able to achieve what they did this year - well done fellas.
Looking forward to a beer tonight and a good break in the off season. See you all next year.

Well the CUH lads were in a jubilant mood today ( no time for end of season fishing trip) although they had been out for for celebrations last night but it was back to the park for their Champion of Champions round 1 match at Lithgow. meeting a team ( Lithgow workers who too won their GF yesterday 1-0)
right from the kick off the CHU controlled the ball and began their dominance quickly scoring goals by half time it was 6-0 to CHU. The coach made some changes to the team and allowed some of the backs to into the action and by fulltime it was 15-0.

What a game today!!!
CHU have been training the house down and it showed as they went to a 3-0 lead and took control of the match but this Miranda Magpies team was a very classy and they slowly turned the game around in the 2nd half with 2 goals.
It was tense final minutes as the score remained 3-2 to CHU and a welcomed final whistle blown.
Well done to Granville representatives a great result move on to Round 3. ;D ;D ;D

Well after a 2 weeks rain delay CHU faced Fairfield hot spurs in a much anticipated match up.
CHU missed a number of early chances as the finishing just didn't hit the target into he sheds at HT 0-0. Second half it was end to end neither team able to trouble the scorer. FT 0-0 into golden goal first period 0-0 and it was late in the second period as coach was tempting that dreaded penalty shootout. it was Fairfield who struck the net and won. moving onto the semis
Well done to the southern districts team.
great effort to the Granville team as well..... so its its 2011 season over.
