Brumbies 3 - MFC 0 I thought the game was a lot closer than the result would suggest, a little bit rusty from a couple of weeks off due to poor weather. Merrylands a very determined and tough team, should make for a cracker of a second round. ;D ;D ;D Hillside1 are you relocating. Billy Will do my best to keep the sun shinen.

Brumbies 4 Chill wht 1 Brumbies played well today, at times showing great team work stringing together some great passes. At times they still need to see that final pass, instead of getting goal line fever and having a crack from an impossible position. Castle Hill fought from start to finish and were only denied from some great scrambling from our backs and even better judgment from our young keeper. Well done to all. ;D ;D ;D

Brumbies 1- Castle Hill Blk1 Castle Hill the better team today, Brumbies very lucky to get a point from the result. Brumbies seemed to be a bit lost out on the field today and unable to hold three across the midfield, instead had three center midfielders which we were able to capitalise on.
Good luck Brumbies for your weekends games especially your round 3 Sydney Cup game V Marconi. You had a great round 2 win against the previously unbeaten Seaforth FC and if you play to your potential there is no reason you cant advance. Most importantly play good football and represent Granvilles with pride.
Kville 2 - Brumbies 2 Very poor not sure what else could describe it, tomorrow against Marconi could be a blood bath if things go the same way. Well done to Kville wht you played like you should have got the 3 points today.

Brumbies 0 - Marconi 5 Wow what a well drilled and disciplined outfit. Our boys tried extremely hard to match them and played some lovely football, but lacked the consistent and constant intensity that Marconi played the full 50 min with and absolutely no let up in attack. In 50 min we were in their half for only about 8-10 min, great side and deserved winners, a credit to the club and coach. This game was an excellent lesson for our whole side, and what they need to work on to go forward, I believe there is enough talent in the team to lift to the level we saw today. Good effort boys you didn't drop your heads.

I saw the Game, as you played before the Granville game. The Brumbies boys tried hard but the Marconi team as you said were full of class, they showed great vision and played the wide switch several times which caught the boys out. Its hard to think but Sydney United in the same comp as Marconi are even better than Marconi.
You are correct the Brumbies do have a lot to work with and I am sure they will continue to improve and be better for the experience.
