Thanks CB, OT.
It's good to be back (i think), hopefully KK can retain more players at the end of this year and look forward to maintaining a presence in Div 1 if possible. I dont expect too much out of this season, it will be a learning curve for 80% of our team, especially when we face the big four.
Playing Doonies Div 2 this weekend, boys will need to step up now and show that they are worthy of this Div.

Pendo had there first hit out against Prospect and came away with a win. Like CH Utd condition were difficult and with a few new players the team played well but a lot of hard work still required. This week a game has been arranged against Doonside not sure of the ability of this team as this is the first time against this team.

Curveball, Once again Pendo has the hard draw toward the other end of the season having to play against what i believe will be the teams contesting the top four positions. So i guess since the first game of the season will be against your squad Pendo needs to take up the upper hand on there home ground. But if you have a look at there draw they play different times for other home games.
I won't be able to see many of the games this season as i have other commitments elsewhere.
I'm sure your team will done well this season again and i hope Pendo will finish in the top four but time will tell.
Only saw bits and pieces of the game but 3-3 today between Pendle Hill and Castle Hill Black. Mainly saw the last 10 minutes with a fair bit of scrambling from Pendle Hill but a great way to kick off the season. Looking forward to the rest of the year.

Kellyville went down 7-1 today to Auburn. Not sure how good Auburn were last year, but 7-1 is a convincing win in my eyes. we have a lot to learn this season, big change from finishing 4th in Div2. Once we settle in, we should be able to expect better results.
Have to congratulate the Tigers on their never give in attitude, they have been a strong side for many years and they continue to play with 100% effort for the full game - well done!
Hopefully our lads will learn from Pendo's never give in attitude.
Our Whites went down 0 - 3 to Baulkho. Did not see the match so cannot make comment on how it went.
Chief - Auburn last year finished 6th from memory and gave most teams a competitive game. Last season was there first hit out in division 1 after winning the div 2 comp the previous year and will be much better for their experience last season.
Auburn also seem to get stronger teams in their older age groups, not sure why.
Most of you may have known that GDSFA struggled to get eight teams to nominate for div 1 this season.
I have watched two matches of late involving Winsto's 13 div 2 team, one a trial match end of March against our 13 div 1 White team and the other one was round 1 last weekend against our 13 div 2 team.
The Winsto 13/2 team I think is predominantly their 2010 12 div 1 team and they played good football in these two matches that I watched. Did not watch all of each match but watched enough to know they would be competitive in div 1.
Our 13 div 1 Whites were short a few players but were beaten 3 - 0 and our 13 div 2 team in round 1 were beaten 3 - 1 and our goal was the result of a direct penalty.
I reckon they are certainties for the div 2 title and will probably see them back in the 14/1's.
As I have stated on other threads, it is my personal opinion that if a 10 team comp cannot be run in an age group then no other divisions should be made available. So if only 8 teams enter Div 1, then that age group has 8 teams only, with no div 2, or div 3, etc.
Harsh, maybe - but it will get rid of the burglars...!!!
What about bumping up registrations by $50 and giving every kid a jacket - will stop the trophy hunting parents trying to win one through their kids.
