Our Blacks had a very tough match against the Tigers who always play with determination and never give up attitude. Was a very pleasing result from our boys who have struggled recently to play with the intensity required for 60 minutes.
An update on our sick player Scott - he is still in an induced coma in ICU but is stable with positive signs of improvement. Would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and best wishes.
Again, no official referee today which is becoming the norm, unfortunately this season.
I normally do not put negative comments on here but we were extremely annoyed today that the the first half was played for only 28 minutes and the second half for only 22 minutes. Ten minutes was cut out of the match today which is totally wrong.
The other dissapointing thing that happened today was another home team warming up behind the goal where our keeper was positioned with constant remarks and kicking the ball near him to try and put him off.
A very tough game today as expected,0/0 h/t. With 2 goals scored with in a few minutes half way thru the s /half and some very dodgy decions against us from the non official we were always doing it tuff.
This team were very large and strong but also technically good with great speed.
They were simply to good.
Our boys battled hard and gave them a very tough match and we were certainly in the contest at half time 0 -1. An early goal in each half was to costly and whilst we battled well and had some opportunities, they were a very big class outfit.
Happy to have given them their hardest match of the tournament by far this season and our boys represented their club and association very well and can be proud of their efforts.
