I think the 5-5 scoreline over the 2 games shows not only how close the 2 teams are but that the team that will finish 6th can have such hard and close games with the MP's in this comp Anyone can beat anyone
Semis will be close and all teams will step up for these
No AliB magic boot was not there today The No 14 for Ermo and Mr Alib duels over the 2 days were worth paying to watch .2 guys giving there all for there teams and playing the game hard but fair Great stuff Good to hear from you Noddy
Boys boys boys. Winsto boys that is. Buzzarelli and Dreamgoal. Keep repeating it to yourselves enough and maybe... just maybe... when you finish fourth... you might be able to justify your pathetic protest and say that it was for the greater good of the club or some other such nonsense.
Good on you buzzarelli for missing the game. If I played in your team, with the attitude of the 8 we played, I would miss many. In fact, I would change clubs. Perhaps that's why you could only get 8 to our game.
And riddle me this Dreamgoal... have you ever heard of a team winning with 8 players? Oh no, we lost 4-1 but lets protest because WE'RE TROPHY HUNTERS.
On ya mate. If that's the way you want to play the game then stack your trophy cabinet with as many as you can. It won't make a difference because the way you got them stinks.
And a little sidenote for your smarmy squad... Remember the left back one of your 8 took out in the dying minutes when we were up 4-1 - when you kept playing when we were asking you to kick the ball out in the unwritten rules of fair play and you didn't. Hopefully, hopefully, after 5 weeks on the sideline, he will be returning for our last game against Dundas. He played all last season without injury until we came across you guys. You talk about being fair. Give me a break Dreamgoal. Keep dreaming mate, and as I said previously, we look forward to seeing you next year.... we'll be bringing earplugs so we don't have to listen to your complaints from the kickoff.
We might need to organise a social match early in the season before you go on to play with the rest of your teams in the 7's!
On a side note, I sincerely hope your back is in good shape, no one likes to see anyone injured and whilst I don't recall the incident I find it hard to believe we would not have acted in a fair and sportsmanlike manner!
Enjoy your last game next week and I hope you have now had time to access the GDSFA rules so you guys can review them together as a team.
What a great season with so many close games, Winsto have really enjoyed playing against you all and whilst there have been so many hard fought games they have all been played in good spirits and with the right attitude in mind, there have also been many beers enjoyed after the games which is what the 35's should be about!
Whoever is in the Semi's next week, good luck to all teams and may the most deserving team take out the season!
Dreamgoal, you have it the nail on ther head with your comment, all games hard fought with plenty of comments and niggles, but hands shook after the game and no hard feelings, that is how football should be played, well done to all that contributed this season,
Ermo most consistent team all season and many a time turning up on a Sunday with only 11 players and always coming up with a victory, great effort everyone.
Dreamgoal, thanks for your comments regarding our injured player. It is his knee, not his back, and I have every faith that his injury was accidental. I do, however, stick by my other comments. Good luck for the rest of the season for you too. If you win then I hope that it's on the park and not by other means.

ScouserBilly’s match report: Rams 1 Kellyville 1 – should be the official score!
What a set-up, no official B/W (probably got paid off by the club), Rams were desperate to win this game… it took two home referees to give RAMS a very dodgy pen, 1 off-side goal, a foul on our goal keeper but the referee said “it’s a goal!”, our centre-back broke a rib after a push from the back, a foul but no red card!!!!
To make things worse the 2nd referee disallowed our goal because our player collected the ball in his OWN half ran half a field, with no RAMS player near him, and scored a great goal!!!! After asking the referee why he give the off-side. “I thought he was in our (RAMS) half!”
I think the word “desperation” is an understatement!!!!!
But after the game Steady brought the beers over, say no more!
R18 my forecast: KK 3 points W H 2 Rocks 2 RAMS 0 ERMO 3 (make sure there is an official B/W) and SteadyRam to play for more than 10mins! St Mick’s 1 Dunnies 2
Good luck in the semi’s to WH; Ermo; NR and Dunnies
Final Dunnies vs Ermo!
Winners - Dunnies!
Thanks for the season, see you all next season when the grey pom turns 55 and can still out run and yell most!
Gee Billy, when I encouraged you to come back on the forum, I didn't expect you to be spiteful mate.
Good guys at Kelly except for the white haired whinging pom at left back He loves the sound of his own voice and gives it to refs Both games he has not shut up Maybe he should retire that would be a bonus for all Just no need for his carry onCheers Fox
Well yiu are expecting a bite so here we go ....
The most disappointing thing about yesterdays game was the comments on the field from yourself and another one, maybe two, of your teamates inferring the refs decisions were designed to result in a win for us. I'm sorry you think that way.
Do you think for one minute that the Refs you provided in R3 & R17 didn't get some calls wrong. Yes they did, but there was one big difference - YOU DIDN'T HEAR A NOISE FROM US. We appreciated them being there as we do with all the refs we get.
Nor am I saying I think the ref got the calls you are disputing wrong. Your left half certainly gave our No8 a push in the back in the box, even if the fall was a bit dramatic in true AliB fashion. The difference is, when AliB milked a penalty from us in R7 costing us a win, we laughed about it instead if whinging.
As for the supposed foul on your keeper, HE DROPPED THE BALL, which he did every 2nd time he touched it (no disrespect to him as I only kicked every 2nd ball I swung for).
Offsides, well we could argue offsides forever but the loudest protests were coming from yourself and your other back. I know you commented on my wearing glasses but your eyesight must be as well exercised as your lungs, to be so certian of your forwards position from way back there.
Yes we had 2 Refs which is technically not permitted. We sought your agreement to proceed with another Ref at half time as the first Ref was not available for the full game. The 2nd half Ref was riding by on his pushie when he was asked to run the centre. He has said not to ask him again. They made their calls as they saw them, just as your Refs did, and all Refs do. We had two Ermo Refs last year when we played them - no complaints - job well done even if Ermo2115 was one of them :-)
Why don't you mention the goal the Ref awarded us because he didn't see the handball by our forward. But we fessed up and you got your free kick. Why don't you mention your very own handball in your box Billy where your arms were fully extended above your head to stop a cross from the corner. The Ref let you away with an 'accidental' but all we did was rib you about it and have a laugh.
You had it all over us on Saturday and thoroughly deserved the win. Didn't hear a peep out of you then. We turned things around yesterday and then a couple of you start with the carry on. Your fairminded players agreed we won the day despite the decisions you mentioned.
Each week, we go out and have a laugh, more often than not, with the opposing team. Most of your own team do as well but Billy, you are only laughing if your winning and every call goes your way mate. Despite your guff about desperation and paying off Refs and setting up results, we don't need to make the finals to have had a successful season. Your comments here say more about yourself than the game we played.
Why don't you seek a rematch from Granville due to the technical breach and I will co-sign it. That way we get another game. We may win, we may lose, doesn't matter ..... but hurry up because we are desperate to make it into the top 4.
I don't know what you are suggesting by me buying you a beer. The main reason was to see if you could drink at talk at the same time which surprisingly you can. I still expect one back when I see you next you WHWP.
Kiffo, I was sorry to see you injured yesterday and more so to hear you have a broken rib. In my opinion, you are the strongest player on your team and you frustrated every effort we made on Saturday. Billy will now say you were targeted but that was not the case. I hope you recover soon.
Steadyram, the last time I milked something was a cow on a year 4 excursion. Can't recall last week's goals let alone round 7. I only remember the misses like on Sunday against ermo when all I had to do was pass the ball to our striker and he wouldve slotted it away. The ball bobbled up on the pathetic surface and I duffed it. Woudve been 3-3 then and anybody's game. Maybe I shouldve taken a dive!
Steady Stop bringing back these bad memories for AliB.His nightmares are still with him now Fire up Steady for the big one on sat Good Luck Creepy We will try and beat Dunnies for you guys to get the second chance and promotion to Div 5 See you at training AliB.Penalty training is on tonite You and Hollywood can have blindfolded shots at Eddie. With Hollywood running into the box before you take it All good fun
