Lidcombe didnt do anything wrong so people shouldnt be giving them any grief.
Im interested to know what the relationship was like between the 2 teams during the season as that may of played a part in the decsion.
We have let a team field a player based on drivers license and previous team sheet but we have also told another team who had no cards that we arent playing. The team we didnt play were a pack of a$$holes so they were never going to get any favours.
There was definately no ill-feeling between the teams, we had played eachother twice and each side had taken a win between the 2 games. I think our captain was even good family friends with their captain.
Anyway it's all over now and as I have said Lidcombe were entitled to make the decision they made, I was just surprised by it.
Needless to say we look forward to playing them next season, with our cards of course!
Granville are just not playing that well for some reason. Form prior was good, but all teams have flat periods. 100% that Granville need to play alot better to have a chance on Saturday. WHills definite hot favorites.. Lidcombe just had a 15min laspe in concentration and the game was over.

Popped along to the Lidcombe v Rage game and wasn't impressed really, FatJesus is right that if they want to beat us they will need to be better. Have to admit they can play but not even close to the skill level of our midfield and the second goal for Lidcombe...well laugh me and my mates couldn't stop.
Good luck to Granville out of all the other teams they were definitely worthy of a final, all the best from me and my boys
Looking forward to a decent game but didn't see anything that makes me think we cant be grand champions. ..missing my cricket season to play this so it had better be worth it.....
Hmmm.. "i need a better name" sounds confident. Suppose when you trophy hunt and guys who should be playing Prems or high divisions, do the dodgy thing and play 6's... well the confidence is well founded. Granville will give 100% on saturday, that Whills can count on. Good luck boys..
Great effort Granville. Under extreme pressure at times, but showed great heart and strength. Both teams had chances and the better of play at times. Respect to Whills who were tough and pushed until the final whistle. Great bunch of guys who played hard, butu fair and best wishes to them going forward. I never bag referees, they do a very hard job. But the free kick count was about 20 - 2 to Whills, it was clearly not right.
