OK its that time of the week, lets get our tips in (1) RSL V Rams = I think Rams will be coming over to Eric Mobbs with a mindset that they can frustrate the RSL boys & maybe even snatch a draw. LLTK tips RSL in a close one. (2) Winsto B v St Micks = Both young exuberant teams with much to play for. LLTK tips WHB 2-1 (3) Winsto W v Baulko = 2nd v 3rd in what should be a ding dong battle of wits @ the Kookas nest. LLTK is going to sit on the fence here 3-3 (4) Wenty v Stanes = A must win game for both parties if they want to stay in touch with the top 4. Have a feeling though that wenty r smarting after the poor performance on Sunday against the mighty RFC & may stamp some authority on this comp. LLTK says wenty 4-1 (5) North Rocks v RFC = Sorry Rockies but this will be a stroll in the park for the RFC boys now that all players are back on deck. LLTK says RFC 5-1 Hopefully u all have great matches & some great bulldust stories to tell on Sat night. Let the football do the talking Caio 4 now LLTK

Baulko 2 Winsto Wht 2
St Mick's 4 Winsto Blk 1
Not even I think we should of won this one. Pretty even first half, neither side having great chances, St Micks probably had a little bit more ball but couldn't work a decent shot. Unfortunately for us our 2 subs quickly disappeared through injury which would be telling in the second half. So half-time was 0-0. Second half started the same but as the half went on our marking got very loose and the legs started to slow down a bit. In saying that we were the first to score off an own goal which was horrible luck for the St Michael's sweeper as he nudged it past his keeper. They then got it back level a couple of minutes later after we stopped playing for an offside flag that went up, gotta play the whistle of course which is what they did as the ref ignored his linesman. From there they were all over us. As you all know they're young and quick and they finished with a lot more pace and fitness, it was my first game in 6 weeks and I don't think i've felt so slow on a soccer field before. A well deserved win to St Michaels they could have even scored a couple more if not for some excellent goal keeping, but the effort my boys put in was outstanding.
Rsl 4- 4 rouse hill. Great effort from the boys played with 9 players to get draw good result. Not to say we could have won with two clear chances but that's football, was a good battle against rouse hill boys good luck for the rest of the season .cheers
Afternoon boys, sorry for the delayed post but as i was a bit crook on weekend & didnt play i needed to check with my many sources on the weekends results. (1) RSL v Rams - A bit of a grind here but Chickman i believe u had 10 players not 9 as u made out, obviously getting a bit ahead of yourself there champ. R RSL starting to get the mid season wobbles after leading since round 3. Great attack but looking at the AGAINST it looks dire. (2) WinstoB v St Ms - Well i heard it was like to lovestruck teenagers making love for the first time, very tentative with no one wanting to be the aggresor. But in the end someone had to take the bull by the horns & te boys from St Micks have given a big shout out that they think they can win this damn comp. (3) WinstoW v Baulko - Sources tell me that there were a few flare ups in this game but all in all a fair result for both sides to consolidate their top 4 placing. Time will tell if the draw helps or hinders for the fight or a top 2 seeing these guys play agin in a catchup in a couple of weeks. (4) Wenty v Staines - Well Staines im pleased u made me look like a total thingy with my outlandish prediction but i will say this result certainly does not help the Staines as according to my mathematical calculator u boys will need to win at least 6 out of your last eight to make finals. And Wenty well maybe the thought of a 3peat is starting to weigh heavily on the boys minds as they also r starting to feel the pinch & just lose touch with 4th place. (5) RFC v Rocks - Again LLTK thought that this would be a walk in the park for RFC but my sources tell me it was anything but as the young lads from the Rocks pushed the Pensioners from RFC all the way & probably even deserved a draw. Well i guess this week will tell a little more about who actually is going to step up & show that the r the big guns for this comp because it seems on any given week any side can win if they turn up. I think it comes down to this Age & Experience (RSL, Rams, Staines & RFC (maybe Wenty) v Yth & Exuberance (WinstoW, WinstoB, St Micks, Baulko & Rocks) so lets see whos left standing in a few weeks, for LLTK im going with Age & Experience as i think come rounds 16,17,18 these r the teams that will come to the fore.
Lltk good to have u back mate, we were 9 players to start with and one turn up whith ten to go first half and one player come off second half to look for his kid who ran way on the bush and if u remember our keeper was playing up front for us can imagine your thinking. Anyway we haven't lost since r 2 so we are happy with the result. It's up to other teams to beat us.
LLTk was down at training last night & all the talk was about how is anyone going to beat the mighty KOOKAS come finals time. Rumour has it that the great Golden Kooka formerly of premier league immortality has been signed last week & is making a comeback in the S9s team. Well if this is true i can not see any team getting within 2 goals of the KOOKAS. Chickman surely this will test the resolve of the RSL boys as they still sit atop of the ladder (or nest) as i call it. St Micks r sniffing & have a good run home, Baulko (as said above) & Winsto White well if the young lads put their mind to it & stopped smashing themselves up every Friday night well maybe just maybe even the GK wont stop these boys. Enough Enough u say of my rants, lets let the ball do the talking. For an in depth analysis of each match including Old LLTKs tips stay tuned Friday.
I have no idea what you are on LLTK but if you can pass it around the circle, I think we will all be far more relaxed and be more in tune with what you are saying.
Stanes know they have left themselves with a big task to make the finals, but are quietly confident of getting the results needed to get in and give the comp a shake.
Big weekend of games coming up too - Winsto White v RSL, St Micks v Wenty, Rydalmere v Baulko, Stanes v Rocks, Rams v Winsto Black, Stanes v Wenty (Sunday). Most interest surrounds the White v RSL game for me. Hoping for a draw or RSL win to help keep the top 4 from getting too far away. But I think White will test them with a bit of extra pace and RSL seem to be struggling to get a full team to games recently.
The comp is still very close and as results have shown...last place could beat first place so the top four is still wide open.
As for Wenty winning 3 in a row...we would love it but it seems the rest of you teams are more worried about it than us... we will be happy just to get boys back on deck instead of playing short every week...
If we can manage to scrape our way into the finals and get most of our side back we will give it a real crack. Until then just keep writing us off!!!!!
Winsto White v RSL - The two teams with the longest undefeated runs go head to head. In the clash earlier this year, White gave RSL their only loss of the year, a 5-1 drubbing. It will be much closer this time, so long as RSL get full numbers. Plenty of goals here, 3-3 draw.
St Micks v Wenty - Wenty have enough structure about them to negate playing with 10 each week, although St Micks have been in good form of late. I think St Micks will sneak a couple of late goals as Wenty tire playing a man short (if Wenty have 11, they can win). St Micks 3-1.
Rydalmere v Baulko - Interesting game this one. Baulko are right amongst the top teams, while Rydalmere are putting together a nice run. They need the win to put pressure on the top 4, but Baulko will want to cement a spot up the top. Close, tight game, 2-2 draw.
Rams v Winsto Black - The Rams will welcome playing someone apart from RSL, while Winsto Black need to get their season back on track. Rams have found the net big time of late, but at the expense of conceding. I think Winsto Black have a little more to play for and will repeat the result from earlier clash. Black 1-0.
Thanks Staines for starting the weekly tips off. OK old LLTK the master of tipping with 2-5 last week is now looking to get some credibility back. (1) WHW v RSL - The old v The New - I predict a niggling type of game here as RSL seem to be struggling for numbers lately, so i think they may try to put WHW off their game with this tactic. Will experience & the much vaunted attack trouble the youth & exuberance of WHW. I'm going for a 2-2 draw. (2) St Micks v Wenty - In what LLTK thinks is the match of the round, St Micks win & they consolidate a top2, Wenty win & they r back right up the u know what of 4th. Whilst St Micks have been in good form i think this match against a big solid side will test their resolve. I'm going Wenty in a 2-1 upset here. (3) RFC v Baulko - As mentioned exclusively by LLTK the Kookas will unveil new signing GOLDEN KOOKA for 2morrows match. RFC have been on a good run of late but they will have no answers to the magic of GK, the man who has achieved more in a decade of Premier League Glory than any other player in GDSFA. Kookas 4-1. (4) Rams v WHB - After the inspiring draw against comp leaders RSL last week LLTK thinks that the Rams will continue on with their good form & win well here. WHB seem to be down on confidence after last weeks touch up from St Micks. LLTK is going for a 4-2 win to the Rams. (5) Staines v Rocks - Not even worth talking this game up, ROCKS are doing nothing & Staines have it all to play for. Staines 5-0 Thats it for this weeks round up, as old LLTK says let the ball do the talking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Playing with only 9 men against 15 or 16 is always tough...We got up a 2-0 lead.. A bad ref decision to give a penalty after two players got tangled in the box saw it get back to 2-1 and not long before halftime they put away theire 2nd. give them credit it was a screamer.
2nd half we started strong but when one of our boys got sent off we went down to 8...took them till about the 80th minute to put away their 3rd...just couldnt match them for numbers and in the dying seconds they got their 4th.
Good performence boys.. should be getting players back over the next few weeks. Just hoping our run to the finals isnt gonna be too late.
