I dont referee senior mens games anymore due to abuse from players who know all the laws of the game, never make a mistake in the judgement calls and are always in the best position to see every incident. Perhaps its those players you should be seeking out to referee your games.
Oh by the way, go and talk to an Under 10 girls side who got a similiar allocation of referees as you. Perhaps if one of your players was willing to attend the referees course and pass. and offer to officate in that grade of a sunday morning in 2012, one of their parents may do the same for your grade. Just a thought.
had to do a bit of juggling but all games at Coleman were covered on Saturday and Sunday and I was even able to send one down to do a couple of games at Progress. Admittedly not all games had a full set of 3 but all centres were covered.
Unfortunately not all refs come to meetings and again not all refs read their emails asking that they block if playing or whatever but considering the regular appointments officer was sick and the president had to step in at the last minute to do the appointments I reckon she did a great job.
then again there is always my old fallback, if you think you can do better job either in the middle or on the sidelines, join up, we would love to have you on board
Want to congratulate the young fella who did the u13/1 grand final as IMHO he had a blinder. Kept up with play, was very confident in his manner and ignored all comments from the sideline (both sides) - not that there were that many because he really couldn't be faulted on his performance. Well done...
