That's no good losing a few players. I would have thought with the villes good standing in ressies table and a few of the all conquering 17's possibly moving up to ressies that the prems side would be bolstered with a few more quality players and on the up.
Still you've taught me never underestimate the mighty ville
Of course we respect your opinion no matter how stupid it is!
Seabiscuit was on the money, there was a whole load of who ha about joeys last year, but they weren't there at the end, auburn may finish top two but they wont win grand final. don't underestimate castle hill rsl, got some new talent, comp will be closer than people think. Goodluck to auburn and fc living up to all the hype. any word wether the fat controller will be back this year? wouldn't be the same without him. stan other people lose players but dont always use that as an excuse, seems you've given up already??
oh orange we played them last year when they won their comp, and we smashed them 6-0 and they had no one missing . trust me they would not come close to winning our comp, just because you and your gumps could not compete in our comp and ran back to gump league dont go carring on like a chump.
but thanks for your interest in our comp have fun peeling the oranges, when do you think you and your super side will play prems again
This is my opinion and i don't give a toss what you think
> Where councils don't need to mow the fields, cause they are all dirt. > Where it is still acceptable to stuff a magazine down your sock and call it a shin pad. > Where both teams need to do an emu parade to make sure there are no syringes on the field. > Where instead of water at half time, you can share a swig from the goon bag.
We all know that no team from the mighty Blacktown comp could win the Granville comp, so taddle off and go back to the Blacktown forum, which I believe it is an old cork style message board outside the Lone Pine Tavern.

i thought i was on the granville forum not the eastern suburbs.
The reasons i left was because it takes an hour to get to every ground because the police have shut down most streets in the area for investigation. With getting older i was finding it harder to run with a bullet proof vest on. i must admit though i do miss the smell of the old hydroponic houses not to mention there has been at least 1 all in brawl in premier league each year. there is no crime in granville is there? not to mention how rare it is too find drugs around granville station.

Doesn't sound as though The Rockets had a very good run on Sunday against your boys. Big call to now claim you would dominate Granville Premier League........in future please refrain from making such bold statements, if another Granville Assoc team comes your way and you towel them up we may consider taking you a bit more seriously. Keep in mind these are "trial" games.
orangepeeler our best team auburn got to the semis of champion of champions last year..who just lost in penalties to bankstown city lions...our association was at least the fourth best team...at least in the state..where did the best team of the blacktown comp end up in the champions of champions? u really dont know what ur talking about..u think by winning a trial game u will donminate our comp..all due respect to the rockets they finished bottom of our comp last year..get your facts right.. shazza is calling you
At the moment I genuinly believe GDSA prems is quite strong, in particular at the top end, however on a week in week out basis I don't think there is too much difference between the comps.
When we played BSFA prems in 2002 every team (and every official) in the comp wanted to beat us and in the end the refereeing decisons cost us the ultimate victory. There was no way in the world a "one year wonder" GDSA prems team was going to come in and take their prems title.
At the end of the day though prems is prems no matter where you play it and the quality of football is quite similar.

In my opinion GDSFA Prems is a lot stronger when comparing top of the table sides.
If orange peeler is going to use trials as any sort of measure then we can discuss RFC trials against 3 BDSFA prem sides this year.
In total RFC has played trials against BDSFA table positions 2nd (Polonia), 4th (Doonside hawks) and 5th (Rooty Hill RSL) sides this pre-season.
RFC won all 3 games in all grades. The RFC prems amassed over 20 goals for and 1-2 against in prems alone and had it not been for trials and RFC trialling a lot of reserves in prems it could have been over 30 goals in 3 matches. RFC has not been at full strength in any of the trial games.
Still as we all know trials are just that. A chance to give everyone a run.
So certainly bold claims by orange peeler. I can understand his excitement beating a bottom of the table granville side 4-2 (hardly comprehensive) . It's a good result for parklea

I have played in both associations in the past 3 years. i do believe that granville has more competative teams week in and week out than blacktown, however the strong teams in blacktown would go very well in granville. (parklea and st pats).
unfortunately rydalmere fc pulled out on a trial against parklea earlier this year (due to getting the dates wrong). i was looking forward to it.
As for champions of Champions we lost to the same team. our game could have gone either way. Yagoona finished the stronger and netted 2 great goals in the last 10 minutes.

How do you know we struggled against dubbo? did you do a 7 hour trip out there, play then a 7 hour trip back? thats right rydalmere wasnt there . do you think it was easy to even field a team to travel.
And once again making your storey sound better. doonside actually finished 6 points outside of fourth and rooty hill finished 9 points out of 4th. Great result rydalmere. hopefully you can make the semis again after those dazzling results.
