Looks like GDSFA have endorsed the Premier/Super league option.
Other endorsed arrangements include:
1. Nominations permitting, a 'Super League' or 'Premier League Division 2' competition will sit immediately below the existing Premier League competition and it too will be squad-based
2. The various 'Senior' competitions will be re-named 'All Age Men' and be coded AAM,- just as the equivalent ladies competitions are called 'All Age Ladies' and coded 'AAL' - with the highest level being AAM5 if Super League comes into being or AAM3 if not.
One assumes that the hope is that some of the old Div 1 teams will put in the effort to move to prems if they know that all they can win now in their current format is a division 3 or division 5 trophy.
Stan we use the word 'Train' very little at Toony. We refer to it more as 'a gathering' or 'an excuse', sometimes we might even stretch it out to catching up with old mates. After all we are all 40+ years of age and to train would be to learn and improve and lets face it we are all old has beens with little to gain by TRAINING!
