Any news on this regarding teams and if it's actually going ahead. Us guys at Parramatta City haven't really been kept in the loop in regards to this so interested to know whats going on? If alot of the teams from senior 1's are going ahead with this I think we will follow as well considering the senior 1's division will be pretty weak and not worth playing in.

The idea of having a squad and being selected to play in the first team is ok when the football is being played at a semi pro level , not in park soccer. The way it has been was ok with "The Premier League" having a squad of 2 teams and players playing for positions, Then, FUN but still competitive All age divisions. I think the SL will take away from the association and the players more than it will give, And what would the interchange ruling be for this SUPER LEAGUE?
Granville Rage Jrs will be nominating a squad for SL. The team is made up from last years Div 3 & 6 All Age teams plus a few extras picked up on the way. Hope to see some of the bigger clubs nominate to get this under way.

Kats, If you have enough players for a squad why would you enter Super League rather than Premier League. Prems is where you will really test yourselves and if the twins are joining you this year you should be up for it.

The Rouse Hill Rams are looking to form a squad to compete in this new super league. We won Senior 2's last year so under the old format would obviously have to go up to senior 1's. We don't have enough players to make up a squad though, (so far we could manage about 20 at a push) so one idea we have is to maybe merge with another club to get this happening. We'd be happy to merge with a senior 1's team and we'd just make up the reserve grade part of the squad as we know we ain't world beaters but could compete well at that level.
We've had offers to do this in another Association, but we would prefer to stay and play in Granville Association because the games are Saturdays which suit us better. If we can't get something happening though we'll prob just leave the association and play elsewhere.

Unfortunately no we don't have anyone at our club to merge with. We are the only Senior team at the club that can play, the next best team is Sen 10s or something ridiculous like that. Plus the juniors only go up to about 13s at our club so no hope there either.
We're trying our best to get a squad together but we want quality players too not just numbers.
tod you have to start somewhere mate greystanes are trying with their 17 and 18s granvile rage are trying with their sen3s and sens6 we started 4 years ago with our 21s and blokes to old to play anymore. build it and they will come
