Broncobull, With ville injury list growing by the minute I'm looking good to get off the bench this weekend. After been rested for a few weeks I'm raring to go. It's all part of the Hollywood master plan.
Kellyville 2 Pendle 3 Tough game in poor conditions. I thought pendo deserved it just. Although the penalty was an incorrect call. Ville go matching out. Good luck to pendo in the next round. Any other scores?

Winsto White 2, Lidcombe 1. Perhaps the worst game we played all year ironically. Thanks to Lidcombe No. 7 (I think), who made me miss 5 seconds of my life when he hit me and forgot about the ball....Unfortunately I accidentally squared the ledger attempting the worst clearance of my life and ending up with my studs somewhere in his midriff I think.... A yellow card a piece was fair...

Seems like my predictions for the weekend and final standings were correct. Pendo stepped up and could be the dark horse as they have the experience in finals series events and are last year's Grand Champions.
Congratulations to all teams that have made the final series and well done to those that have made this seasons competition a more competative one with several teams capable of winning on the day. I certainly have enjoyed the games this year and in the main most games played in good spirit and friendly chats after each game witnessed.
So it is Castle Hill vs Baulkham Hills and Pendle Hill vs Winston Hills in a repeat of last years Grand Final.
Winston Hills would love to get over Pendo as the rivalry goes back since the start of 45's with all but the first year seeing them victors. Pendo have won the last two Grand Finals.
The new boys this year - Castle Hill (deserved minor premiers) and Baulkham Hills have added some spice and depth to the competition and have done well.
I expect that all teams are carrying niggling injuries and this may indeed affect the outcome. I do know that some key players in a couple of teams will be absent from the final series for one reason or another; this shouldn't be a problem as others will step up.
On form the Grand Final should be between Castle Hill and Baulkham Hills but finals series are a whole new ball game. One off games are a do and die effort and luck sometimes plays a part. So I will have a go at predicting the outcome of the next couple of weeks. Once again many will not agree with me but here goes:
Castle Hill to beat Baulkham Hills by at least 2 goals and go straight into the Grand Final. Pendle Hill Black to beat Winston Hills Black in a hard fought match with only a goal in it.
Following week Pendle Hill Black beat Baulkham Hills by the odd goal and it may go to extra time or penalities to get the winner.
Grand Final between Castle Hill and Pendle Hill Black - a tight match which could go either way. They have a win a piece this season with my spies telling me that the second game was very equal in spite of the score; a break away brillant individual effort to seal it for Castle Hill in the last minute of the game with Pendo pressing for an equaliser. So perhaps more of the same in the Grand Final with an individual magic moment to decide the winner?
Likely result 2-1 to either side. If Castle Hill are complancent and take their opposition too lightly then Pendle Hill Black will win as they have been there before and know what to do. If Castle Hill play their normal good game then they should win but Pendo will give them a game no matter what.
I'll take some of the Axes money on Pendo at 8-1 because if they win on Saturday their odds will shorten.
Once again good luck to all teams involved this Saturday and I may be changing my predications after Saturday but no matter what I expect Castle Hill to be in the Grand Final.

Thanks Captain - everyone loves the Irish. Yes we have a great sense of humour and we can laugh at ourselves. Some people are just too serious.
Just a grammatical slip but, if you read carefully you will see this Irishman means Pendle Hill vs Winston Hills is a repeat of last years Grand Final.
I'm not sure Pendo have the edge either but I do know they are always up for the big games. Of course Castle Hill have experience too. Time will tell of course and I can be completely wrong to be sure, to be sure. Pendo may not even get past the first hurdle. However, I do feel they pose the most threat to Castle Hill winning the Grand Final. If they don't get there then Castle Hill will win for sure.
