Surely, somebody is going to ring the council and say, "are you kidding me???". I am in the Hills, in brilliant sunshine with the ground almost dried out. Today and tomorrows forecast is for sunny days on the BOM website. The next few weeks are for heavy rain. SURELY WE MUST GET ON AND PLAY THIS WEEK WHILE WE ACTUALLY CAN!!!!!!
Stan and The Captain will never achieve Oko status.
What gets me is that the grounds are closed for the entire weekend on a Friday morning (supposedly) inspection of all grounds . With the mid 20s temps, wind and the sunshine we are getting most grounds will be playable on Sunday.
Oh i forgot, taxpayers' money doesn't extend far enough for the council to get of their a1$es and inspect the grounds on Saturday afternoon.
I wonder if the 25% rule still applies. According to the board endorsed season comp structure/plan any early round/game that is washed out are the first ones to be caught up. This means even if we can play 10% or 15% of games it will lighten up the load on catch ups. In other words if we can play any games this weekend we should do so rather than postponing them and catching them up later.
