Hope you have had a good break. The transfer market for the coming season has been active with Parramatta City picking some good players, Pendle Hill i have heard could be having some changes as well and what's happening with Castle Hill United with a number of players moving onto Youth League teams.
Think you need to check the GDSFA website re competition structure to ensure your comments are correct
Some of our lads have moved onto youth league and some others from this age group have gone to AFL.
Am confused about your comment about checking the website for the competition structure??
I believe the intent of this is to have 10 team comps wherever possible when the numbers allow.
Below wording from the website
Teams per Competition All competition will have 10 teams where possible. Further importance is given to have 10 team division 1 competitions to make it fair and balanced. 6 team competitions are avoided. The following table outlines the number of teams per division in an age group according to the number of team entries.
There is a table on the website that shows the structure depending on how many teams per age group but does not publish on here that well!

Thanks, Curveball now everyone will have an understanding and be able to check the GDSFA structure for the competition for the season. Yes i had heard a few from Pendo are switching codes, it's a shame as some of these players ans others from various clubs have a lot of talent and can only improve this season to have the opportunity to trial at a higher level next season.

I can confirm Parramatta City FC has signed 2 Pendo players for this season. Hills Brumbies Youth League has picked up 5 players from CH UTD Blk's and another made Parramatta FC PYL So how are the other teams going in the transfer market?
Pendo is holding trials Wednesday 15th February 2012 at Pendle Hill High School with a 6:30pm start be there at least 20 minutes prior. Entry for Pendle Hill High School is Cornock Ave off Bungaree Rd Toongabbie. Check Pendle Hill FC website prior to the grading just in case it is called off due to the weather
CHU 13/1 Blacks from last year lost seven to reps plus our ill player Scott who caught the MRSI bug leaving six returning. We have had some of last year's 13/1 Whites move up and some new players join and we will have a competitive team.
More importantly, Scott's health continues to improve and he is now home and gaining strength each week that goes by. We look forward to him cheering the team on and supporting the mighty Green Machine.
OT - heard a rumour that you were back as coach of the Tigers 14/1's?

Curveball, well the rumours are true i will be part of the coaching staff this season. Pendo lost 5 players including the goalkeeper and 1 player who had his leg broken in the final series last season has been advised by the doctor not to play this season. But in saying that Pendo has picked up some new players with first divison experience.
Good to see you will be once again have a competitive squad.
Pendo has first trial game next week against Prospect

CB, OT & H
Yep here we go again, Kellyville are back as well.
Lost 1 of our better players to Adelaide United (kid moved interstate), otherwise team not much different from last year. 1 went to reps and 3 no longer playing. Spots filled by a mix of size, skill and ability. Haven't even had a training run yet due to weather, leaving it late now but hoping to get together tomorrow if weather holds out and scheduled to play against Roselea 14/1's on Sunday. Possibility of another game on Monday.
Looking forward to 10 team comp, no complaints from our side as we dont have to face off against the gun sides, 3 times again.
As for coaching, still discussing options and will finalise by tomorrow.
The club we had organised a trial with this Sunday has apparently pulled the pin so if anyone wants a trial run this Sunday to blow off some cobwebs and have a field, please email our email@example.com
