Hey mate, you must have had your crystall balls out yesterday...As predicted by you, Rocks White 6 - Kewpies 0
Great bunch of guys, game played in good spirit. Kewpies were a bit unlucky to catch us on a week with our strongest players available, so those that came before can expect a better game from us next time.
Let's see how we go against Ermo in about 12 hours from now.
As slowfox said, St Micks had much of the possession in the first half but couldn't find the back of the net. Rouse Hill has a super keeper - fast to cut down those through balls and ably supported by a strong back 4.
St Micks fought back in the second half but just couldn't get that last goal to level at 3-3.
Rouse Hill's final goal was a high bouncer from the keeper's kick that Rouse Hill got a head to and popped it over our keeper's head, arms... everything.
Great couple of goals in the first 10 minutes had Winsto well on top and passing the ball well.
The next 40 minutes saw Winsto drop off the pace with "Harry the Hacker" stopping a Rocks player from advancing towards the goals on the theory "you can't run without legs", the free kick just outside the 18 yard box was well executed as this same very dependable defender deciding to bow to the Rocks player as he shot and the ball soared past where his head would have been into the back of the net making it 2-1.
Winsto came back together to score again with 10 to go and sealed the match.
Great game played in great spirit and thanks must go to "Creepy Defender" who did a good job officiating the game in the absence of a referee.
1st goal to St Micks from a sweetly taken half volley just outside the box around the 20 minute mark. Nice goal! Rocks equalised with a penalty to make it 1-1 half-time.
2nd half, cracking goal from our striker from a nice through ball - keeper had no chance to make it 2-1, then finished off with the 3rd from a lucky deflection.
Good hard game mostly played in good spirit except for a couple of overly physical challenges, but otherwise a hard but fair game...St Micks play a high pressure game, and I'm sure that they will continue to be hard to beat.
A hard-fought game that Ermington should have won but thanks to a last-minute goal from our St Micks sweeper from about 40 yards out we secured the draw. Ermington were 2-0 up with about 20 minutes to go and we never looked like getting back in the game.
A great corner was headed in by an Ermo player for an own goal that got us back into the contest but some great defence from Ermo had us scrambling. But, as we know, football can be a funny game.
Looking forward to this week's clash against Rocks White.

Hi guys I'm new to this forum, have been reading the posts and decided to join up ;D I play for the 35'6s Rams, and so far what a tight season it has been , Good Luck to All for the season
Rams 10 vs North Rocks Black 0 North rocks only managed to get 10 players to the game while Rams for the 1st time in 2 years managed to get 16 to a game and had to leave 1 player out , what a diference it makes having 5 subs, Rams up 2 nil at half time and in the 2nd half ran away with the game as North Rocks ran out of legs. Game played in good spirits, Good bunch of guys we played against but if they cant get 11 on the field its going to be a long season for them.

Thanks slowfox that 4-2 win was the toughest game so far this season, the game could have gone either way right till the end. Our team is now in its 2nd season, and after last season playing in div 7 with a lot on injuries ( 4 knee reconstructions ), this season we are managing to get a full squad and playing a lot better together. See u in the 2nd round at home
supersub7, I had one game in Div 4 with Holroyd then div 5 and 6 before half the team moved to St Micks.
Tough game on Saturday against NR White considering:
NR White beat St Micks White 3-1 - we only managed a draw against St Micks White NR White beat Ermo 3-1 - we only managed a draw against Ermo NR White lost to Rouse Hill 1-4 - we lost to Rouse Hill 2-4
