....due to a rash of over reactions it has been decided to cancel April. There will be no soccer, work, school or even birthdays! This was caused by a little rain but can be caused by a whole host of things..... 2 hot days in a row and we should all buy umbrella hats, 4 cars stopped at traffic lights.... traffic jam etc etc
Stan and The Captain will never achieve Oko status.
I must admit it is dreadfully frustrating, I was still trying to fill gaps in trials as late as 4pm yesterday because teams had pulled out and then to find out council has closed the fields this morning has earnt the family swearing jar about $50 this morning, still at least cricket is missing out as well which is good, would be nice if April was cancelled as far as work is concerned, but at least we have had limited use of our fields unlike some clubs
I think that Cream was just having a dig about how nobody seems to have got any trial games or even training yet due to councils closing grounds and the fact it is supposed to rain most of April as well
Guys I hear the Bankstown competition ROUND 1 starts 21/22nd of April, so I suppose if our competition starts on the 31st of March we are very lucky as it seems some other associations are doing it tough, imagine another 3 or 4 weeks of trials, if you can get any trials or fields to play on and then start ROUND 1.
No problem Kicking balls, I only heard a rumour about this, I have a freind that plays for Panania RSL and he was emailed last week that the official kick off date was pushed to 21/22 April so he must have got the wrong info, he also mentioned that he want onto 2 other clubs websites that are in that association and they had it on their website as well, I will let him know to call his association and find out what has happened in regards to their dates, all I can say is LETS hope that we can get the Granville comp. kicking off on the 31st.
